I truly am a wuss - I was cruising some urban legends sites just now, in particular the creepy ones, and I kinda totally freaked myself out *shudder* It also took me back to middle school when Gaëlle, a friend Sandrine and I have in common, used to tell us all about urban legends. She usually did it during 'permanence' which was also tough because we were supposed to be as silent as possible and Sandrine and I would gasp and startle each time... but man, it was always so good. It did make sleeping those nights just a tad difficult but whatever :-) Hey now that I think back of that time, the three of us had quite the Storyteller Society going on. Sandrine watched a lot of films which she would tell us about afterwards - in details, or else it wasn't worth it - and I was in charge of the tv shows and sometimes books: I remember when I was reading Pierre Bellemare, I would tell the stories I'd read to them - and some other friends as well. Oh and I also remember talking about the last episodes of Tales from the Crypt that I'd watched. I had quite a few followers, then. Hee sweet memories :-)

Enough tripping down memory lane. Here are two little memes I've been asked to do. I said why not, because, you know, why not?

1. List ten fictional figures you would have sex with (in no particular order) and tag 5 people to do the same. If you want to play, just do it, people.

1. Megan [Numb3rs]
2. Terry [Numb3rs]
3. Elle [Criminal Minds]
4. Garcia [Criminal Minds}
5. Veronica Mars [Veronica Mars, duh]
6. Original Cindy [Dark Angel]
7. Max [Dark Angel]
8. Glory [Buffy]
9. Tara [Buffy]
10. Dean [Supernatural]

What? Straight girls always tell us all about how they would go gay for so and so, and I couldn't go straight for Dean? Dude, this is Dean we're talking about, all right? I totally could. For one night? Or maybe two. Yeah.

[ETA: I can't believe I forgot Faith from Buffy omg! So Faith is 10b. There.]

2. If you leave a comment requesting a quick analysis, I will respond to you about the following:

1. I'll respond with something random I like about you.
2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you. Or tv show, might be easier for me.
3: I'll name something we should do together.
4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me (or just me).
5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you. I'll try anyway.
6. I'll leave you a quote that is somehow appropriate to you. Ditto
7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.

I don't usually do memes but this one is too fun to resist ;)

1. List ten fictional figures you would have sex with (in no particular order, except for the one in bold *g* )

Michael Scofield [Prison Break]
Paul Kellerman [Prison Break]
Fernando Sucre [Prison Break]
Spencer Reid [Criminal Minds]
Aaron Hotchner [Criminal Minds]
Derek Morgan [Criminal Minds]
Don Eppes [Numb3rs]
Charlie Eppes [Numb3rs] -- yes I know! I want both of them! I am messed up!
Colby Granger [Numb3rs]
Julian Sark [Alias]

2. I'd like to know your quick analysis of me :)

Great list, here, Rhysen, great list *approves*

Okay for the meme now, I'll do the questions I can:

1. I'll respond with something random I like about you.

The fact that you seem to be able to write in so many fandoms without the slightest problem. You'll find a new show to watch, a new fandom to get involved in, and no long after that bam! There's fic - and great fic, at that. I love how you can do that :-)

2. I'll tell you what song/movie/tv show reminds me of you.

I'm hesitating between Criminal Minds and Prison Break. Prison Break because you're the ones who wrote rare pairings such as Kellerman/Michael and Abruzzi/Michael - which I adore, the latter in particular - and Criminal Minds because you're the one who made me discover it. You're the one who uploaded L.D.S.K, the episode that got me hooked on the show *g*

3. I'll name something we should do together.

Good question. If we lived close to one another, I guess we should meet and do some wild tv show marathons lol We have enough shows in common now to last a long time.

5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.

Strangely enough - because I knew your name before that - I'll say that it was the entry you wrote about The Sentinel. How you'd discovered the show and you much you were enjoying it and all. It was a very enthusiastic post and I'm always delighted when someone gets into the fandom for the first time, and also it was fun seeing your name in the same sentence as Jim/Blair...

7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.

Know what? I'm not even sure I know what to ask here. I don't know you enough to really wonder about specifics things...

I didn't realize just how many shows we have in common! Prison Break, Criminal Minds, Numb3rs, The Sentinel... and you're probably one of the few people who don't watch House as well (if I recall one of your recent posts correctly).

I'm glad that I managed to convert you to Criminal Minds fannishness. It's such a great show. I was yanked into the fandom through L.D.S.K. as well, so I figured it should also work like a charm on other people!

And yes, I'm probably quite notorious for my fandom ADD - I can't seem to get into a fandom without jumping in with both feet! Glad you've been enjoying the fic, and it's always nice to receive feedback from you. :)

and I was in charge of the tv shows

Hee, no wonder you're so good at reviewing TV shows, you've had years of practice. And it's nice to see some things don't change; once a TV show(s) lover, always a TV show(s) lover. *g*

1) Uuu, this is fun, must do it, too. *nodnod*

2) I'd love you to do me. Um, do a quick analysis of me, that is. ;)

Tv shows and I have had a wonderful friendship since FOREVER :-)

1. I'll respond with something random I like about you.

Your ability to write very concise episode reviews lol You always go straight to the points - in an enthusiastic way that I adore - and you say exactly the things I said myself, only you don't take 545210 words to say it :-)

2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.

I'm actually going for a book here. I mean, there are a lot of shows that remind me of you but the Salinger books is really unique because I think you're the first person who ever mentioned it on my flist, so I totally associater this author with you now *g*

3. I'll name something we should do together.

That's easy, have a fannish meeting where we'll watch the favourite episodes of our favourite shows back to back.

4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me (or just me).

Audio books aren't evil!

5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.

My first memory of you is when I checked out your journal after you'd friended me. I never automatically friend back someone so I was cruising your journal to see whether I wanted to add it to my - already kinda big, I'll admit - flist and after a couple of entries I told myself that, yes, I definitely needed to! Which I never regretted *g*

6. I'll leave you a quote that is somehow appropriate to you.

"Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength."

7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.

So hey, when did you discover you were bi? If it's not too personal.

From: [identity profile] sockich.livejournal.com
1) Lol, it's funny how your ability to write 545210 words long reviews is exactly one of the many things I like about you. Opposites attract, I guess. ;)

2) Hee, I love this answer so much. It's awesome to be linked to ones favourite author like that. *nodnod*

3) Dude, we should so totally do that.

4) Yes they are! They mock me and that is evil, pure evil I tell you. :p

5) And I'm so very happy you decided to add me. You were my firs real LJ friend (one to who's post I replayed regularly and who replayed back) and I love you this much *puts arms wide open*

6) *blush* Thank you.

7) Hmm, good question. I don't know, I guess I just kinda always knew I liked girls as well as boys, so when I started reading books on the subject of sex and stuff, I came across the term bisexual and it fitted to how I felt, so that's how I've been identifying ever since. Um, that happened when I was around 10 or 11, so ever since then, though I admit that it was more of a theoretical knowledge, which then became practical during the many parties I went to when I was around 14 (when I wasn't a total recluse, lol) where I discovered that yes, I do in fact enjoy kissing girls just as much as I enjoy kissing boys. And then came the New Year's Eve when I had my first sexual experience (with a girl, it took me quite some time longer to have sex with a guy) and if I had had any doubts left they'd be eliminated be that, because I really, really, really liked it.

So, yeah, that's that, probably a lot longer than you expected, sorry about that. And, if you don't mind me asking, when did you discover you were a lesbian? *curious*

Guess I've got it easier. Okay, I'll go first:

1. I really like your LJ title.
2. "It's A Kind of Magic" by Queen (probably because I saw a SG1 MV to it a couple years ago, and it really is a kind of magic to create worlds or manipulate existing worlds with just words).
3. We should definitely meet up the next time I'm in Europe.
4. Is it just me, or does Blair own a Jaguar? ^_~
5. Gotta be when I first joined up with Sentinel Thursday; at least, that's when I starting getting to know you as a person besides just a writing goddess.
6. "Before the starry mansion of Jove's Court my mansion is."--Comus by John Milton

1. I'll respond with something random I like about you.

I like a lot of things about you, including the fact that we share the spanking kink. It's always lovely talking with a kindred spirit *g*

2. I'll tell you what song/movie/tv show reminds me of you.

The Sentinel, without a doubt :-)

3: I'll name something we should do together.

You should come to France and we would spend time in Paris, talking about TS and Jim/Blair and kink while eating pastries facing the cathedral Notre Dame .

4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me (or just me).

DD is love.

5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.

Guess it would be the first time chatted together; it's always exciting getting to speak with someone via messenger as opposed to delayed comments *g*

6. I'll leave you a quote that is somehow appropriate to you.

When you look at your life, the greatest happinesses are family happinesses.

7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.

1. I'll respond with something random I like about you.

Your love for the French language :-) Having foreigners want to study my language always fills me with glee and somehow the feeling is even stronger with Americans since, well, they don't have the best reputation as far as learning foreign language goes. And now you can even read French classics! That's awesome *g*

2. I'll tell you what song/movie/tv show reminds me of you.

Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain, what with the French thing and all :-)

3: I'll name something we should do together.

We already met IRL and had our little Parisian afternoon so that's something that we had to do which we actually did... I'd love to meet again this weekend - I think I still haven't commented to your entry - but I'll certainly work both days so...

4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me (or just me).

A Parisian afternoon isn't complete without a good ole French strike.

5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.

Easy, when I first saw you, for real, in the flesh; after so long talking about it *g*

6. I'll leave you a quote that is somehow appropriate to you.

J'ai deux amours, mon pays et Paris - hee couldn't resist lol Hope you did love Paris enough to appreciate that quote ;-)

7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.

I feel like I should know this because we must have talked about it but what's your dream job? And will French be a big part of it?

Woo! That was fun!

As for my dream job, I'm not sure really. But I would like French to be some part of it or working with internationals. Perhaps some sort of career that allows me to travel abroad here and there and getting to meet new people. I'm considering working in an international office of education at a university.

But REAL dream job? Egyptologist!

You can try here (http://www.warphead.com/modules/news/) and here (http://www.snopes.com/); I love the latter in particular, when I wrote my gen SPN, this is where I found the ghost story that John and Dean were working on :-) There must be other sites with more links but it's a good start, I think.

1. I'll respond with something random I like about you.

Your involvement in TS; your site is a little gem, there's so many goodies over there! And I'm always in awe of people who can vid...

2. I'll tell you what song/movie/tv show reminds me of you.

Though I now associate you with SPN too, you're still the girl I knew from TS, so The Sentinel would be my answer.

3: I'll name something we should do together.

We should meet - again - and do a SPN marathon together, yay!

4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me (or just me).

Hot poker scene is what started it all.

5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.

When I saw you for the first time IRL at the station.

6. I'll leave you a quote that is somehow appropriate to you.

We love to hurt the ones we love *eg*

1. I'll respond with something random I like about you.
That your posts are always so cheerful - you strike me as someone who thoroughly enjoys life, and whenever I sit down to read one of your posts, I know that I'm going to end up with a smile on my face.

2. I'll tell you what song/movie/tv show reminds me of you.
Even though we first met in TS-land, this has to be SPN, because you're the person who first introduced me to the series, for which I'll be forever grateful. :)

3: I'll name something we should do together.
I'll second the SPN marathon...yay! *g*

4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me (or just me).
Hmmm...I'd love to mention the red hot poker scene, but you beat me to it, so I'll just mention the Dalek birthday cake instead (and yes, I will post those pictures as soon as I dig them out of my camera *g*)

5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
Sitting on the floor in the Egyptian stairwell of Harrods, taking photos and just chilling :)

6. I'll leave you a quote that is somehow appropriate to you.

1. I'll respond with something random I like about you.

That you got me hook on Veronica Mars. Without your dedication, I might NEVER have tried it. And it would have been sad for I wouldn't have known uber-woobie!Logan. And kick-ass!Veronica. And geeky!Mac. And everyone else. Oh, I just reminded myself that I need to get my hands on s2. Do you think you could maybe help me with that, mate? No obligation, as usual :-)

2. I'll tell you what song/movie/tv show reminds me of you.

The O.C, because I dislike it and you love it and I remember you talking about here and there, and bitching about the French title and all that.

3. I'll name something we should do together.

Plan a little SPN marathon.

4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me (or just me).

It's the Belt scene that did it.

5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.

6. I'll leave you a quote that is somehow appropriate to you.
