Everyone loves the Winchesters.

Apparently I'm a danger to my family when I'm in show withdrawal. This morning during breakfast I kinda completely talked their ears off with SPN and the Phone Call scene in "Home" and "Devil's Trap" and, well, Dean of course. Dean and John and Sam. And I was also witness to a pretty funny convo between Mom and Dad about the Winchesters:
Mom: So Sam left? But he wanted a normal life, that's understandable.
Dad: What? He's selfish! He should have stayed with Ron-
Me: John.
Dad: With John. And Dean. Is that Dean?
Me: *nods*
Dad: *to Mom* I'm sure you would have left us to go to College too.
Mom: *looks mean* I certainly would have.
Ha! Mom is a Sam girl and Dad is a Dean girl. I mean boy, he's a Dean boy.
Speaking of the Winchesters, I come bearing another rec, by
janissa11 this time, namely Epiphany. Another punch-in-the-guts kinda fic. God, there truly are some amazing authors in SPN fandom, aren't there? It's gen, it's John and the boys, but it contains rape so heed the warnings if you want to check it out. I worship Em, I have to say - each time she writes a new SPN fic, I'm completely in love.
Changing the subject, though it's still tv related: last night La Globule and I ate early and then proceeded to make one with the couch as we watched several series in a row; including Due South, which he didn't know about. I was also thrilled because it was the first part of "Victoria's Secret". It was fun seeing his reactions actually - he seemed pretty taken with the whole thing. Score!
It'd been some time since I'd watched that episode and, man, I don't think it'll ever not be a fantastic episode! There are so many wonderful scenes I don't know which one to pick as my favourite, though one that kinda blew me away was the Confessional scene. It's such an incredible moment! And it was shot beautifully, wow.
Then it was a little Simpsons session, followed with two episodes of a new series - new for us, that is - namely Keen Eddie. It was fun. And the characters are quite endearing. La Globule and I will investigate further, I think.
And this doesn't have anything to do with anything but Sinfest CRACKS ME UP SO MUCH!
