So. Today was Monday. Is it bad that I'm already impatient to be Friday? Though wait that's not a hundred percent accurate. In reality I'm really impatient to be tomorrow because by then I'll be able to download the new Black Donnellys and since I'm deep into TBD these days - that and s1 of L&O:CI - well, it's really something to look forward to :-) So is it tomorrow yet? *bounces*

I had a great week-end, guys! Rémi's party was a success and seeing him so happy was just wonderful. We stuffed ourselves - well, The Sis and I, participating in Lent again this year, had to be a bit more careful about what we ate but a) there was more than enough different meals on the buffet and b) the cake arrived past midnight so it was okay :-) - and we laughed and danced and just had a blast.

Also, there was this funny moment when Kevin - one of Rémi's best friends - decided to play on the slashy side of the road when he French kissed my cousin after a wrestling match between the two of them on the dancefloor. I was like 'oh look, two straight boys kissing each other on the mouth, it doesn't just happen in fanfics!' It was, of course, my duty to report that slashy happening, so there *nods*

Oh! Unrelated now but Josh Lanyon replied to mail I sent him! It's the first time I write to an author I like; maybe I'll start doing it more often :-)

And unrelated #2 - a commercial that I adore at the moment. From the Free Hugs Campaign. In Paris that one.

It makes me feel all tingly inside. Of course it's a campaign that has to do with AIDS so it's not schmoopy per se but it's the message of love that gets to me...

It kinda gives me goosebumps each time I see it, I have to say *g*

So I just saw that you're going to Corsica so I guess we'll have to meet another time? But in any case, of course, whenever you come to Paris, I'd love to see you *nods*

Also, for now I still have the Teacher Persons home so I can't exactly invite people over but, you know, I'm hoping to move in my flat this summer so you can already consider that you'll have a place to crash whenever you feel like coming to visit. So okay I don't live in Paris, but it's really not far by RER :-)

Ah! I was just hunting down this precise comment to eta it, lol. So yeah, I've "changed my rifle to the other shoulder", lol. I looked into the Paris thing but I needed accomodation money and I couldn't find anything affordable really. But trains I can get for a good price so I'm not giving up on that entirely and will definitely come visit for like a weekend or something. If by then you have a couch, I'll definitely take you up on that offer. If not, I plan to have saved enough for at least a night or something, so it's only "partie remise". Also, if you ever want to come to Lyon, you're welcome here. I mean, I'm sure you're welcome at Rosie's as well and will most likely choose her couch since you know her best, but if you, like, want to ever come with a few more friends of your posse, my couch definitely fits two, and it's always happy to have people over. :-)

And as for that ad, I saw it again last night and yep. I cried AGAIN. *sigh*
