Except Jake - the dead brother - doesn't appear at all. He's the narrator, is all. He doesn't haunt haunt the house, it's just... his presence still lingers, like the presence of loved ones always do. But yes, he's the one who tells us his and his family's story but it doesn't have anything to do with SFU. L'un n'empiƩte pas sur l'autre, if it makes sense.

If anything, the plot kinda was similar to another series, Les McKenna - dunno the English title but I'd say it was pretty much the same - which follows the return of the younger son back home after the elder dies and lot of angst ensues as there's a lot of issues between Brick [Eric Close's character] and his father. But here again it was still different as there was no presence lingering and the tone itself was different...
