Of ranting, porning, ficcing and watching tv.
First a mini rant, I hate each and every quiz coming from the quizfarm site because they never fails to mess up with my layout - it's a 100% sure thing. I usually filter out the culprits the people who don't put it behind a cut so that I can have my friends page look normal again but I'm afraid I sometimes forget to put them back in my default people!filter so I try not to do that all the time. But I'm sorry, I just dislike the whole thing. I know none of you has to hide it behind a cut, man it's your journal, you cut what you want to cut, but then I don't have to like it, do I?
Second, the pr0n battle commences, guys. Multi-fandom, and so hot and sexy you might want to take a break between reading the ficlets :-)
Speaking of ficlets and fics and stuff, I now have two Don/Charlie under my belt. I did write the angst free story I said I would. So it's still not what I was aiming at, but it's not full of angst. I might try for a third one, see if I can include that little smutty scene that popped in the other day to something a bit bigger. And dude, I also have an idea for an SPN fic but I need to check out some episodes first to try and get my facts straight. It's hard work, but hey, someone's gotta do it, right? lol
Changing the subject now. Man, the French now have their very own CSI show, in the form of RIS: Police Scientifique. RIS being the acronym for Recherche et Investigation Scientifique. It's an adaptation from an Italian series, namely R.I.S: Deletti Imperfetti, they're basically CSI's younger siblings.
So I knew that a new show was coming and I knew it was supposed to be different from what we usually got. The producers wants some new blood, you can see it via series like Engrenages or Clara Sheller for instance.
Admittedly, R.I.S: Police Scientifique is pretty different from our usual cop shows, all right. It doesn't have anything to do with Julie Lescaut, Navarro - which I've never watched because, well, just because - or PJ. Of course, one might say that is what made those shows look a bit grittier and more realistic, maybe, but I guess something different isn't always a bad thing in television - and in any case, R.I.S is so much classier.
It's like hey who would have thought! La police scientifique does have money and technology in their buildings! And their working place? Looks so modern as well. Definitely makes for a change. I thought the characters were pretty clichéd - kinda like American characters usually are as a matter of fact - but what the hell, why not? Then again, I liked the fact that the cast was kinda cosmopolitan, and it's always a good thing, imho.
Oh and there is an Arc. Yes. Apparently a mysterious bomber is after Marc - ohhh suspense lol
And it was funny because Marc? Well the actor who plays him anyway - is an actor I know from his dubbing work. I recognised his voice immediately. He's Largo's voice in Largo Winch, and some others but that's the one I usually zero in. I also had a nice surprise as Monsieur le Divisionnaire - have no idea what his name is - is Bernard Lanneau! Meaning, he's Jim's voice in The Sentinel. Man, I could listen to him talk for hours. Hopefully he'll be a regular character, it'd be worth it just for his voice.
Now I wonder about Engrenages - next time it airs, I'll have to give it a try. Oh well, I can't watch everything, can I?Though I can try at least
And finally, Kaamelott killed me yesterday! "Et Merlin sera maintenant connu sous le nom de... Coco l'Asticot" *dies laughing* Actually, the whole episode killed me. That duel scene? *is ded again*
PS: Oh and know what? If everything goes according to plan I'm going to Babylon tonight with - that I know of -
dont_callmebabe. Only not exactly Babylon, okay, but I like saying that lol Still, gay club for girls? I could make up a lot of things to make it sound like it was a den of sin, right?
