Oh that scene, I wondered as well! Then I tried to tell myself it was because they wanted to hint that S!Dean had roughened Sam up a little hence the change of position and room and all but the knife thing totally destroyed the thought - that and the fact Sam was still in the quasi pristine condition he was when it all began. And alright, pristine isn't accurate at all, but I'm just trying to make a point lol

When watching the episode, it felt as if they'd lost some sequences now and then.

And I second that, S!Dean and the tension totally saved the episode.

Which for me? Is quite an accomplishment, lol.
