I'm enjoying my Lazying Around icon so much! I don't need a subject when I have that *pets*
Spent the afternoon with one of the best friends yesterday and among other things we saw Little Miss Sunshine at Bercy Village - in Paris - and oh! What a gorgeous and sweet and so very funny film that was, wow! Can't wait for the DVD to come out because I need to watch it many times!
I'm debating going to see Le Parfum now because even though I loved the book when I read it - first year of high school, takes me back! - I really wonder how they dealt with it, considering it was all about smells, scents and odours.
Then today far niente - well, almost, but at least I got to do it inside the house. And I also found the time to do some not!tv watching, namely Numb3rs was watched and Robin Hood - new version - was discovered.
So okay Robin Hood? Didn't exactly make a strong impression. As in, I don't think I'll download the rest, though I know one should always give new shows a second chance and sometimes you do need a couple of episodes before being hooked but, well, sometimes you just don't feel like you want to bother, right? So I suppose I'll give it a miss. It's not as if I didn't have a ton of tv shows to follow already anyway *cough* In particular as I also downloaded the premiere of Dexter and you never know what might come out of that one.
Numb3rs made up for the RH mini fiasco though :-) Not the case itself but the Eppes moments. Twas odd seeing Alan and Charlie being at odds like that and having Don interfering between the two, and not just that but defending Charlie, being on his side - as opposed to immediately assuming he was being a brat and siding with Alan, know what I mean? It was nice seeing Don trust Charlie and wanting to just, let him live?
A little moment that I adored was during the end tag - when Charlie is playing Alan about the propane. You see Don looking up at him as if thinking something along the line of 'man, Charlie, you could do a little effort' and then when we realise Charlie was kidding and that he has, in fact, taken care of it, he's all happy and maybe a bit relieved because obviously Charlie is getting with the program. I loved the knee-slapping he does on Daddy!Eppes - twas really sweet *g*
I liked the discussion between Alan and Charlie about Charlie's life and I liked Charlie admitting that he worries sometimes about his life/future and liked even more his little speech about how he's trying to wrestle everything at the moment and how he's trying to figure it all out. He does have a lot on his plate - incidentally I loved that Don acknowledged it himself too a little bit before that scene.
But Charlie is still a bit of a brat, anyway; he cracked me up with his 'I knew that Dad living with me would drive us insane' little line because er Charlie? Hi! Haven't you been living with the guy pretty much all your life without any of you really becoming mad? So maybe the problem isn't that Alan is living with you but that you now have responsibilities you used not to? Just a thought. Still, he did show Daddy!Eppes that he'd heard him loud and clear and I liked that. Same thing with Alan listening to Charlie... See? Talking does bring results, even if it doesn't come easy for everyone :-)
I also loved Don in that episode - he seemed more subdued than usual, quieter and, I don't know, I liked all his interrogations and/or realisations. I thought it was so touching that he wanted to try and search for Anna/Hannah's lost relatives - and Alan's reaction to it was really beautiful too. I also always adore when Don comes to Charlie just to talk. Not about the case but about him, or about the family... and I quite enjoy how Charlie picks up on Don's need to talk, too.
Two little Random things:
Unrelated now - dude! I thought that the SPN Complete S1 box set R2 came out tomorrow but apparently it was last week omg! I can now get my pretties, hee!

Two little Random things:
- So Don speaks a bit of French, uh? Nice :-) I couldn't help but notice that they'd made a mistake though. It's 'après-midi' not 'aprés-midi'. I know, might not sound like much but still, it's just not it's written, is all so I, uh, needed to point it out.
- Megan's - and David's too considering the look they exchanged - trust in Charlie's abilities is always of the good.
Unrelated now - dude! I thought that the SPN Complete S1 box set R2 came out tomorrow but apparently it was last week omg! I can now get my pretties, hee!

Oh my, je devrais faire pareil...
