I can't tell you that you'll enjoy it for sure but I know I definitely did. It's rather long - 2h30 - and technically there's no action but I didn't see the time pass. I was really into the story and really enjoyed the way they portrayed the 'characters' - it's always weird talking about character when dealing with real people, but you know what I mean - as well as the whole process of trying to find for the killer.
Plus, I just love serial killers' stories; they're always fascinating, even if morbid and scary.
Jake Gyllenhaal was great as Robert Graysmith and I loved him in the film but my favourite was the actor Mark Ruffalo who played Dave Toschi; I was rooting for him like you wouldn't believe.
