My silly brain was mixing up Sn1 & Sn2 humor!episodes. I was thinking you wrote "Hell House", when it QUITE CLEARLY says "Tall Tales".

So, looking back on the CORRECT EPISODE, yeah, Tall Tales was a bit more colorful than usual; their room was rather green, and the Trickster certainly liked his scarlet decor...
