Oh, boys!

Dude, it's the second time I delete an entry by accident. My mouse is all screwed up so it zigs instead of zagging and instead of clicking 'no DO NOT delete, kthxbai' it clicks on 'sure, it's not as if I cared about an entry I'd written' and it's gone to the ether - unless, of course, I really do care enough and just go back a few pages and find aforemetioned entry when it wasn't deleted yet, like a mini trip to the past.

Anyway, am I the only one who does that kind of stupid stuff, delete entries by accident? Come to think of it, don't answer that.

Mind you, I wanna say it's the mouse's fault. I mean, the real mouse, the mouse which functions as a pointing device by detecting two-dimensional motion relative to its supporting surface. Not, you know, me.

Right. Anyway!

Unemployement does have some perks! Because I could download SPN right away and not wait til tonight to watch it, which means it's been downloaded and watched \o/ So. While going through the flist - though not clicking on the cuts, of course - everyone was raving about the episode and during the first part of the ep, I couldn't see it... I mean, it was cool as SPN always is for me, but I didn't see why it was so different. Then, er, well, I totally got it :-)

I really liked Ruby in that episode! For two reasons; either she was telling the truth and she is a demon who still remembers her humanity and in that case that's pretty fascinating - and it gives some kind of hope re: Dean's damnation because if he has to turn into a demon I can't not believe he wouldn't turn into that kind of demon, one who does remember his humanity - or Ruby was lying and she's even more manipulative than I thought and that's all kinds of awesome. In a twisted kinda way.

So either way, she wins.

Sam and Dean broke my heart. Yeah, what else is new? But seeing Sam admit that he's consciously trying to become tougher because if he has to fight the war on his own - meaning, if he really can't save Dean - he'll have to be tougher and more like Dean to survive it, was just way too sad. As was Dean when he realised what was happening to his brother... or his reaction when he heard from Ruby that a) there was no way to save him, after all and b) that he could become a demon himself. Which, yeah, the Reaper had mentioned something like that in "In My Time of Dying", the hunter becoming what he hunts? Not exactly the same circumstances, but with the same results.

It's like every nightmare Dean could have all becoming reality *wants to hug him and never let go*

I have to say I just can't believe there's no way out. Not even because it's Dean but because I honestly can't believe there would be no loophole, no way out of the deal, of any deal. There has to be. Because it's all about balance and if you make a deal, there should be way to break it. Maybe you won't find it in time, but there has to be a solution, somewhere. So if Ruby does say the truth, ie that there's no way to save Dean, I believe that there's no way that she knows of. And I'm sticking to that theory.

The forces of evil are powerful, but I always believe the forces of good are too. So maybe it'd be nice if someone up there remembered it and did something about it. Thanks. I have a boy who needs some help SO DO SOMETHING!

Now, though, if there is no way out - well, okay, then. Sam will have to go and look for Dean in hell. Piece of cake! *cheers on Sam* They opened the gate once, he can totally do it again. He just needs to put some kind of tracking device on Deano before. Like that, when Sam opens the gate again, Dean will be the only one to get out.

What? I need to find something so that I don't break down and cry if worse comes to worst at the end of the season and we're not renewed, do you understand? *already tears up*

Onto other things I absoluted adored:

  • Dean crawling on the floor, hurting and bleeding. And, yes, I'm well aware of how it sounds when I say stuff like that. It doesn't change the fact that I adored that scene of him whimpering and hurting and crawling on the floor.

  • Sam ready to go and kill the witches to save Dean.

  • The revelation that there's a new player in town, so to speak. Should make things even more interesting. As if they weren't already complicated enough for the boys!

  • Dean's scream when he was startled by the dead rabbit.

  • Dean all sad about rabbits always being the first victims of witches. And his "poor little guy".

  • Ruby acknowledging the kink between Sam and Dean. The leash, guys, the leash!

  • Dean all but saying that he's familiar with rimming. "Tastes like ass". Sorry but he said it!

I have to say this episode was offering plot bunnies left and right. I even had one for a future!fic of sorts. A plot bunny I'm sure everyone is gonna have but, dude, a bunny is a bunny. I'm not even thinking of writing it at the moment but I'll store the idea somewhere safe. You never know.
enigel: Sam and Dean and slashy innuendo (SPN S/D boys interrupted (me))

Ahahah thank you for the last bullet point. :D It hadn't occurred to me but AHAHA.

Ruby! I knew I loved her for a reason. (Even though somehow I'd have loved it if she were very much badass on her own and had some kind of hidden agenda for why she was helping the boys. :D)

If she remembers what it was to be human, why shouldn't Dean? He could be a badass in his own right, helping Sam from the Beyond! :D Until he was freed and redeemed, of course. *koff* What you're saying, you don't want him to die at all? Well, just in case then. ;)

You're very welcome; it's have been a pity if you're really missed it altogether :-)

Well, dude, she might have hever her hidden agenda for why she was helping the boys. So far, we don't really anything. I mean, except for what she's telling us but we all know demons lie, so who knows?

He could be a badass in his own right, helping Sam from the Beyond! :D Until he was freed and redeemed, of course

Exactly what I was saying, actually. If Ruby does tells the truth about her still remembering what it's like to human, it does give us hope concerning Dean's situation, should he really go to hell, because he so would be like that.
