Tradition being tradition, here's your annual (well, I think I didn't do it last year but whatever) lily of the valley. For those not in the know, it's a French tradition on May, 1st meant to bring you luck.

Never let it be said that I don't take good care of you, flist!
Today being bank holiday - May is ridden with them in France, it's so my favourite month after December :-) - I spent it entre filles, meaning with Mom, Sis and Goddaughter - goddaughter who's now sitting on her own and crawling on her hands and knees.
She also discovered that hands are amazing things to have attached to your arms because they do all kinds of stuff! She recently found out that when you move your fingers a certain way, you can wave at people - both hands! Then left hand only! Then right hand only! - and, my, how funny it is when people wave back! And it's also pretty cool when you use aforementioned hands to hand out stuff to people, especially when they say 'thank you, Chiara' in that funny voice and give the toys back; how could anyone resist playing that game as much as possible? Not her, that's for sure!
And I just love her smiles: there's the cute one and the gorgeous one and there's this one, pretty recent, which has to be the dorkiest smile that ever graced the face of a baby. She cracks me up whenever she uses it.
That was my day :-) And then I got home and watched SPN 4x20 and it made me happy because I was hoping for a great episode and it delivered. It was so great seeing the differences between Castiel!Misha and Jimmy!Misha! I love how distinctive their voices sound.
And omg! Castiel's line killed me dead when he came back! I can't help but hope that he's still on Dean's side - as much as he can, being an angel in the army of God, blah blah blah - and just trying to keep a low profile now. As much as he can being in the army of God etc.
The scene between Sam and Dean in the Impala was upsetting. It was also interesting to see how Sam actually sort of needed Dean to yell, take a swing, do something about him and the blood-drinking. Because, that's the way they do it, right? Sam lies and keeps secret, Dean finds out and gets angry, and they're back to square one. Seeing Dean reach his limits was unsettling.
And I'm unspoiled for the last two episodes - almost got spoiled by the file I had, btw, what with the 'SOON' at the end - so I don't know how it's gonna play out but that last scene! I just couldn't believe it! I mean, when Dean and Bobby made Sam enter I was like 'they're not going to do what I think they are doing, are they? Omg yes they are!'
I just cannot believe we're two episodes away from the end of the season! It's insane! And also scary because omg what has Kripke planned for us?! I mean the boys. I mean, everyone *vibrates in anticipation*
Oh and unrelated now, so I don't think I mentioned it but I have a dreamwidth account. I haven't talked about it because I'm not using it - I just like having accounts in case something happens, like, an evil overlord deciding to annihilate LJ - but because I know some people are dying to play over there, I thought that maybe someone would like some invite codes? I actually just realised I had invite codes. So if you want one, just ask. I have five, I think.

Babies are just the most amazing people ever. My grandson just the other day figured out how to pull himself up to his feet while hanging on to mom, or a couch, whatever. He'd been trying for days and then all of a sudden, he figured out how to untangle the leg that kept getting twisted funny and...voila! I love it when they catch on to something and are totally impressed with themselves. :)
And, sugar, I need a prompt if you want Blair to get spanked for your B-day...you didn't think I forgot didja? I've just been less than inspired lately, so if you've got any suggestions, bring it on. *smooch*

They really are. When talking about his son, Pete Wentz (member of Fall Out Boy) was saying 'every time he looks at his hand, it's like he's Columbus making it across the ocean' and that's so right!
Go, maaaaa's grandson, go! I know that each time I go to my sister's, I'm expecting my goddaugther to be walking now because she's always hanging on to everyone and everything nearby and she takes those little steps and I'm like 'I know you want to walk, do it, dudette, do it!' *bounces*
Lol You totally rock, mate :-) You might have noticed that my involvement in the TS fandom has taken a back seat - or whatever the phrase is - to put it midly, and so I've felt a bit detached from it all... but how could I resist my traditional bday spanking fic from you!
So, ok, Blair is turning 40, right? And let's say Jim and him have been together for ten years? What if Jim wanted to celebrate Blair's birthday and their anniversary by going to where they met for the first time - that is, not the hospital but Blair's former office at the university and giving him a good spanking over there? Like, re-enacting the scene of their first 'official' meeting only with a different outcome, in that instead of leaving, Jim would just have 'punished' Blair for being a liar who lies and then fuck him on his desk?
Something like that? Of course, the problem being that Blair isn't supposed to work there anymore but in ten years many things could have happened that would explain why there's nothing wrong with either of them going to the university for their little fun. Plus, it's a fic and what you say goes, right? And it's just for fun and a bday spanking so it's not an epic and so you could just, like, make it happen, anyway?
Or do something different lol Whatever you will come up will make me happy, you know that ;-)
