Falling in love with J/B all over again

I always say that I'm so enamoured with J/B that there's no way I would need any reminder as to why I actually love them, but sometimes, after spending some hours reading J/B fics, well I can't help it - it feels like I'm falling in love with that pairing all over again *happy sigh* This afternoon I had some free hours on my hands, and after my HL fest yesterday, I had a craving for TS - and I know, technically one could argue that I always have a craving for TS and one wouldn't be too far off base, but you know what I mean... So I cruised my TS folder and re-re-re-re-read some of my favourite fics and I'm full of J/B love, guys lol

I'm not one to give up on my obsessions even after a long time, so being still in love with a show/fandom/pairing after several years isn't something unusual for me, but still... the love is not fading away. So yeah, nothing new, but sometimes it's nice to get all mushy about your N°1 Fandom, so there lol Decided that SG was N°1-bis Fandom - like that, neither of those really has a reason to get jealous over the other *nodnod*

Okay, so I had to go out for Teh Job after I started this entry and now I'm back and when I checked my gmail account I found a gem and now I'm watching something and I'm warning you all, guys, the following is going to be Holy Squee of the High Squee Order because OMFG I'm watching Highlander - and I'm not just watching Highlander but I'm watching episode 3x16, ie I'm watching Methos and IthinkImgonnadieomg!

So? Squeeeeeeeandagainandagain.... *squeeing puddle of fannish goo*

To the new goddess of my fannish world, namely winterhart? Thank you so much for taking the time to upload the episode for me! Can you imagine? It's the very first episode of HL that I see in English - it's my first time! And it's one of my favourite episodes and I don't know if I mentioned it but IthinkImgonnadie!

Once more with feeling: SQUEE! Oh la la, it's almost too good - I'm watching an episode of HL in English - the accent, man, the accent!

I need to find myself a Duncan/Methos, like, now! It's a question of... of honour or something!

And since I wanted to mention today's Excel Saga, I'll try to stop squeeing internally and mention that this anime is really bad for your health - it's so hilarious that it should be illegal! The Municipal Forces DAITENJIN almost killed me, man! That is all *bows*

I'm familiar with Highlander of course but I've never really watched it - watched it, if you know what I mean. But about the accent...oh my yesssss, I totally agree with you. Nothing sexier than a wee Scots accent. *fans self* *G*

Methos - the best episode evah! Of course, there are also other fifteen episodes with Methos too, and they're the best evah, too! LOL! Get your hands on Comes A Horseman and Revelations 6:8, because Methos is so eval there and his eval voice is even better!

Oh mna, the first time I saw that ep and Methos first smiled up at the camera an instant before commercial break, I jumped up and started squealing like an Elvis fan. I think that was my first teenage crush, and man, did I fall hard. You're telling me it's taken you this long to fall for Methos? As long as you're watching eps, watch Indiscretions, it's Joe and Methos on a road trip, teh yummy.
