First things first, Happy Birthday to one great lady, nicci_mac. We all know what to wish for the occasion, woman ; lustful and sexy men doing all kind of pervie things to each other and performing just for you. Then again, who wouldn't want that?

Now on a different note : coming home sore and tired from Teh Job is really nice these days - last night I had yet another episode of HL awaiting for me in my inbox *beams* winterhart really outdid herself *g*

So I watched The Modern Prometheus and I couldn't stop smiling because Methos! Byron! Jealous!Duncan! *bounces* I mean, I'd forgotten the look Duncan gave Byron the first time they met. Our Highlander immediately acknowledged the fact that he was facing a former lover of Methos' and boy did he hate the guy at first sight it! The man got all jealous and possessive. No, seriously! Each time he had an encounter with Byron and got all aggressive, what Duncan was really saying was that Methos now belonged to him and Byron better leave town and not try anything or they would be hell to pay *nods firmly*

Even better yet, my Babycakes is back and I shared the links with her so now we'll be able to squee together - woohoo! There're some stuff I associate with us both and HL definitely belongs to the list. It may be at the top of the list, even - no, it's not Lost because HL came waaaaaaaay before, so Highlander is first *g*

Speaking of Lost? Tomorrow, guys! Well tonight for you US viewers who can watch it live, but tomorrow for the rest of us *g*

And a last thought now. I cannot believe we're in December already - man, time flies *g* Hey, it means I can open my advent calendar and eat my first December chocolate hidden there *g* And no I'm not too old to have my very own advent calendar. You're too old to do stuff when you think you are - and I'm far from that place atm *g*

No kidding! It's so obvious that Duncan is jealous as hell! And that Byron and Methos were so doing it. It's canon! Actually, this is one of those times I realised Duncan was really letting his emotions cloud his judgement. Not that Duncan was entirely wrong to kill Byron -- I think even without his jealousy Duncan felt like killing Byron was liking putting down a sick animal -- but he might have hesitated or had second thoughts about fighting a friend of a friend.

Poor Joe. He's the one who hardly ever gets a say in these kinds of debates.

Seriously, when I saw the scene it felt like I hadn't watched carefully the previous times because it looks SO obvious! Instant dislike of the man for reasons that seem to need no explanation and an outcome that can't not have something to do with Methos. I'm like you, I think that Duncan did have reasons to kill Byron --we're talking about Duncan MacLeod of the clan MacLeod after all-- but I can't shake the feeling that there was more to his behaviour than meet the eyes.
