How sweet was that!

So around two weeks ago, a guy at work offered to make a copy of all the available Sims for me, like, all of them. Then he left for his vacation and I kinda forgot I even asked. This morning the guy comes to me - he was obviously back from said vacation - and hands over two DVDs and lo! The Multi Versions of Sims were on them! I kinda bounced on my seat, as you can imagine. Then we start talking about downloads [he’s been downloading Lost this weekend, which made me smile - everyone comes to Lost, it seems *g*] and he’s like "I downloaded Alexander and Espace Détente recently, as well as some other movies." And I'm like "Oh yeah, you just reminded me that I needed to buy those." Because it's true, I've been meaning to though I kept delaying the purchase for all kind of uninteresting reasons.

Anyway, the guy goes off to do His Stuff and I resume doing mine – because hey, squeeing and bouncing and talking about tv is nice and dandy, but work isn’t exactly the proper place to do so. Well, from I’ve been told - and around two hours later, he's back with a new DVD and dude! He'd made a copy of Alexander and Espace Détente for me – because apparently, the guy loves downloading his movies when he’s at work, so let’s forget what I said earlier, shall we? Not only that, but he’d also burnt other movies - including La Marche de L'empereur - which I've been curious about but never meant to buy. I might have squeed a little but that was so sweet of him, wasn't it?

Changing the subject: you know how sometimes you spend an insane amount of time doing silly stuff on-line – and actually? I don’t even know why I waste time asking the question cause of course you all know what I’m talking about - so we either play with meme or make dolls or create our dream house or what not. Well last night I found this Error Generator thing and just - I had so much fun it wasn't even funny.

Here a little sample:

And because, like I said, I was having a load of fun, I did three others:

Disclaimer: No offense meant, of course, am just joking. Replace "het" by "slash" if you prefer :-)

So I'm obsessed with Jim fucking Blair into next week, so sue me *pout*

I couldn't not include Jack and Daniel, could I?

No, seriously? Isn't that fun? And completely stupid, too, yeah - your point being?

And lastly: for [livejournal.com profile] catiadoodle and [livejournal.com profile] french_hobbit the definition of what a meme is *g* I remembered I needed to give you the link.

I loves! I loves! *cuddles last error message* :D

Glad I'm not the only one who liked those errors lol

Re: Nosy question

[identity profile] castalie.livejournal.com 2005-08-29 07:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Why, thank you kindly *bows*

[identity profile] moimoietmoi.livejournal.com 2005-08-29 05:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow! That guy's really nice! Is he cute and single?

[identity profile] castalie.livejournal.com 2005-08-29 07:03 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL Well let me see, he's around 40 I think and is divorced... not really cute or anything, but he's nice, as previously established :-) And hey, he's tatooed, if that's your kind of thing *eg*

[identity profile] moimoietmoi.livejournal.com 2005-08-29 07:21 pm (UTC)(link)
As long as the tattoo doesn't say something like "Maman forever" or "Johnny forever"... But 40's maybe a bit too old for me.

[identity profile] castalie.livejournal.com 2005-08-29 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Nope, it's a huge snake...

[identity profile] moimoietmoi.livejournal.com 2005-08-29 07:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh? Where is it? Have you seen it?

[identity profile] castalie.livejournal.com 2005-08-29 07:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, totally have - the guy took off his shirt to show me ;-) It starts on his arm - the left one - and ends up on his shoulderblade.

[identity profile] castalie.livejournal.com 2005-08-31 09:14 am (UTC)(link)
Just remembered - well okay, I saw him yesterday which reminded me - that he has another tatoo on his right arm - above the wrist - of a bird spreading his wings.

[identity profile] moimoietmoi.livejournal.com 2005-08-31 09:38 am (UTC)(link)
Wow! he really loves tattoes! Does he have piercings too?

[identity profile] castalie.livejournal.com 2005-08-31 09:40 am (UTC)(link)
*thinks* Nope. Well, not that I know of, obviously. But he has earrings.

[identity profile] moimoietmoi.livejournal.com 2005-08-31 10:32 am (UTC)(link)
So, he could have "hidden" piercings...

[identity profile] castalie.livejournal.com 2005-09-01 08:35 am (UTC)(link)
He totally could have!

[identity profile] audrarose.livejournal.com 2005-08-29 06:02 pm (UTC)(link)
hello, hello, hello!!! How are you?? How's your Numb3rs story coming?? Are you back in school yet?? I hate not having a computer, and I miss you!

hee!! You know, I always thought "meme" was short for "me, too". Like "me, me, me, me!" Which now that I write it out, looks amazingly dumb. *g* Thanks for the real definition.

Did you watch Alexander yet?? I'm curious what you thought -- I'm going to rent the director's cut in the hopes that it makes more sense.

Ta, sweetie!

[identity profile] castalie.livejournal.com 2005-08-29 07:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Heeelloooo Audra!

I'm fine! It's not coming right now, but I'm finishing work tomorrow so maybe it'll come to me soon! I'm not back in school yet though should be soonish. Well maybe. It's complicated lol One of those RL things that are hell, to be honest *g* I hate that you still have no computer and I miss you too! Like crazy!

The "me, too" theory is alive and kicking, alright. And it sounds so fitting, doesn't it? lol You're welcome, btw.

I haven't watched it yet, and won't before - at best - tomorrow. I'll let you know what I thought of it. I'm not exactly expecting a lot - so maybe it won't be disappointing? Except maybe that I'm hoping we'll get the Alexander/Hephaiston love - if only in subtext - I'm impatient to see Bagoas.

Ta! *hugs*

Ah! Those are fantastic! Love it.

[identity profile] castalie.livejournal.com 2005-08-29 07:09 pm (UTC)(link)
They're really fun to play with lol

[identity profile] french-hobbit.livejournal.com 2005-08-29 06:50 pm (UTC)(link)
*giggles before your error popups*

So you have to say 'miiim' in fact? lol thanks for the link, i wouldn't have guessed!

[identity profile] castalie.livejournal.com 2005-08-29 07:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Je crois que c'est presque la prononciation qui m'a le plus amusée dans cette histoire lol

[identity profile] oohlaphlegm.livejournal.com 2005-08-29 08:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Ahahaha excellent error messages! I shall be trying that one later. And DREAM HOUSE???? Is that a thing like the doll maker? Oh please say it is! Oh please link me!!!!!

everyone comes to Lost, it seems *does Sawyer voice* HELL, YEAH! < /sawyer> Even me who doesn't watch any telly, watches LOST.

And your co-worker sooooooo fancies you ahahaha! Boy, is he in for shock.

[identity profile] castalie.livejournal.com 2005-08-31 09:08 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah er, the dream house thing was more a matter of me dreaming of cool sites the likes of doll makers, sorry *cough* I mean, there was this site where you created your interior - which I could find again, I know who gave the link - but it wasn't the same thing.

I think the guy is really that nice - happens sometimes - but yeah, he would be in for a shock, alright lol

[identity profile] gardendoor.livejournal.com 2005-08-29 09:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Bwa ha ha! Oh man, those are awesome!

[identity profile] castalie.livejournal.com 2005-08-31 09:08 am (UTC)(link)
Thanks *preens*

[identity profile] lilithilien.livejournal.com 2005-08-29 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
So that's what "meme" is! I always thought it just meant "Me! Me!"

[identity profile] castalie.livejournal.com 2005-08-31 09:10 am (UTC)(link)
I thought it was a "me, me!" thing as well - and it seems lots of us thought that way. Well, one can't blame us cause really, it could have worked! I mean, it definitely fit lol

[identity profile] x5-536.livejournal.com 2005-08-30 03:46 am (UTC)(link)
OMG THE J/D ONE <3

[identity profile] castalie.livejournal.com 2005-08-31 09:10 am (UTC)(link)
Kinda loved that one, too lol

[identity profile] ladyeclectic79.livejournal.com 2005-08-30 07:28 pm (UTC)(link)
*ROFLMAO* Oooh, I love the position one. :P Once I get somewhere a little less work-ish, I've gotta tinker with that program. The results are quite satisfying. ;)

My computer is the only one with a DVD- and CD-burner, but I'm too freaked out to do anyting because at any time the tech guys can log into our computers to see what we're up to. Gives one a bit of perspective when it come to office-time playing *lol*

And I still haven't watched Alexander. Curious, do you recommend the original theatrical one or the newer director's cut version? I hear the latter is shorter and takes out the homosexual content as much as it can without ruining the storyline, but that it's better paced and...stuff.

[identity profile] castalie.livejournal.com 2005-08-31 09:13 am (UTC)(link)
The position one is my favourite - the visuals it gave me were wayyy too good for words *eg*

I would be too scared to really download anything at work, I think. Well, unless I was sure no one could find what I did, mind :-)

I have no idea. I haven't seen either version. But I'd go for the version where the morons didn't take out the homosexual content as much as they could, without hesitation.
