How original! I just read a Great Expectations slash, Herbert/Pip, and it was so sweet! Really enjoyed it.

Damn *blink* I just imagined the faces of my lit' teachers if they knew slash fics were written dealing with their sacred characters in compromising positions! lol That is, if someone was to explain to them what slash was first, of course *eg*

Man, now I want to read The Prussian Officer again- talk about a nice and *canon* slash theme! UST in all its glory. I love that story *sigh*

It's true that some of them are pretty nice when it comes to make us study books with pretty homoerotic content, and it's even better when they're open minded enough to read til the end a rather long essay where the homoerotic commentary is predominant. Of course, it's their fault- I mean, no one should ever ask *me* to write an essay about D.H Lawrence's short stories, not when The Prussian Officer is included! But I still remember how good I did on that paper, and really... it was such an inspiring subject *eg*
