Her Life is a WIP

Writing is a funny thing. Sometimes you'll be writing a story and there's something that's just not working and you have no idea why. Which is odd because hi, you are the author, and if someone should know why it's not working, it should be you. Except it's not. So you ask for people to give it a look and they see things you were missing and they help you look at it from another angle and you're like 'dude, why didn't I see that before? That's not so bad, after all. Actually that's what I wanted.'

Which is my way of saying that with some help I was able to work on the SPN fic that was driving me crazy since December. So I feel like I can post it now. Hopefully I'm not making a mistake *fingers crossed*

Had a very fangirl related weekend! On Sat I met with a bunch of lj!French fangirls - three I'd already met two weeks ago and three I met for the first time - and I even got to discover a new Starbucks - real classy that one, wow - and today I met with my very own French Posse, Sam and GD - perfect weekend, imho! My meeting and having so much fun with people from the internets still being an oddity for The Best Friends - but they're getting used to it. Or trying to :-)

And something else that is perfect? Is that my j2_otpathon story came back to me today, whee! I mean look at me! Posting a ficathon story ten days before the deadline! Boggles the mind, seriously.

Originally it didn't have anything to do with either "Hunted" or "Playthings - it was started before the former and finished before the latter - but those two aired and so at the last minute I decided to tweak the story a little so that the story could 'fit' canon better. As much as a fanfic sticks to canon, that is, it's always a matter of interpretation, but you know what I mean... Anyway, here is the fic, is all *shuts cakehole now*
