Feb. 14th, 2006 01:54 pmOi, I'm still sick. I'm seriously starting to think a flist is highly contagious and that's where I caught that thing *glares at flist* Though with the crappy weather we've been having lately, I'm not exactly in a hurry to leave the house anyway so staying in bed isn't that bad *snuggles deeper in warm bed* They'd announced snow for yesterday; like, they did that whole Orange Alert Snow Thingie and nothing - well, it rained that's for sure, but it's hard making rainballs *pout*
Anyway. Hey, Happy Saint Valentine's Day - to those who don't loathe that date, that is. I don't, myself ;-) And as for spreading the love, well, I obviously love my flist, so, you know *sends a little love your way* I'm indulging my inner sap today, see? Also? I'm sick, man!
Because this post isn't disjointed enough, let's talk about the Olympics a little bit. Spending pretty much the last two days in bed was quite good in the sense that I could also indulge my inner Olympics geek and I'm enjoying myself a lot. I'm also fangirling the commentators because they sound so cute! I enjoy the fact that they cheer and encourage just about everyone, and not just the French athletes. And last night for instance, during the figure skating competition, Nelson Monfort was hilarious. He wanted so much to see Zhang Dan and Zhang Hao on the podium that I swear he was ready to pay the judges to get them a medal lol I'm hoping to see some curling and ice hockey this afternoon *fingers crossed*
And thentomorrow tonight... "The Benders", wheee! I have the feeling checking the flist tomorrow morning will be fun. I'll also have to be strong and not click on all those tempting cuts. Though I'm not too bad at that now. I think my Lost training is paying off - it was so important NOT to read the spoilers when a new episode aired back when I was addicted to Lost that I had to learn some discipline and hey, I still remember how it works, so no clicking!
Speaking of SPN,
crazybutsound did a Post of Love full of Jensen and Jared goodies. The Inside TV vid was... okay so, look - everyone knows how incredibly pretty and adorable and sexy Jensen is, right? But just in case someone had any doubt - I mean, it COULD happen... if someone lived in an alternate universe where the rules of beauty were messed up? - that little segment would set them straight. Actually, it almost set me 'straight', because DUDE!
ETA: Hey guys. If you're in the Numb3rs fandom I'm sure you already heard about
numb3rs_awards but just in case you missed it, well, they're still accepting nominations, so if you want to show your love for someone - fic writer, icon maker and so on - you know where to go, right?
