Wonderful news today!
Jun. 18th, 2006 10:40 am♥ ♥ ♥ Dude, is this the Best Week Ever or what? The Best Friend Sandrine had her baby this morning! ♥ ♥ ♥
I was awaken quite early on this fine Sunday by my mobile and I was going to ignore it when I realised that it might mean one thing. When I checked the caller ID and saw her name, I already knew what it was, and when it was Olivier's voice who answered me... man, it was all I could do not to squee REAL LOUD and deafen him for a couple of minutes lol
Lucas and his mother are both fine; and hey he was born on Father's Day. Pretty gorgeous present, don't you think? Kids who are born on a Parent's Day are the best. And, of course, I'm so not saying this because I was born on Mother's Day myself - the French one, I mean - I'm totally unbiased here! But DUDE! He's here omg! Oh and he's a little guy of 3kg600 for 52 cm - sorry, I always sucked at the whole conversion thing, let's just say this isn't a shrimp of a baby ;-)
So okay, I'm going now. I need to call some people and then Laurence and I will try to pay the new mother a quick visit.
God... Sandrine is a mother. I'm an auntie for the first time! It boggles my mind. Since I heard of the news, I keep having flashes of us both when we were twelve, you know? But in conclusion; life is just beautiful!
