And we move on to Miracles.
Jul. 9th, 2006 01:04 amI'm on a cancelled show kick these days, flist. And I'm so enjoying it too. Apart from the finales of those shows, which are hell, of course. But it comes with the territory so I try to brace myself and be brave and all. Doesn't always work that well but whatever *shrug*
So this time I've been marathoning Miracles - courtesy of the lovely Rhianne.
See, Odyssey 5, I loved, but the fact that it got cancelled - well, I could see it and I accept it and all that. But Miracles; oh Miracles, I'm really mourning its disappearance because it's so the kind of show that I adore. Give me religions, ghosts and poltergeists and psychics and reincarnation and miracles and I'm gone! Then give me interesting and loveable characters and I just never want to come back.
It's a show that definitely made me feel a lot; I cried at the end of the pilot, then at the end of the second episode, then maybe at the end of the third and, well, I kinda cried for several other scenes throughout the whole series.
Oh and among the many things I love about Paul is how he seems incapable of going through a single episode without receiving a head injury. That so delights me. No, seriously, you could make a drinking game out of this; each time Paul gets whacked, you drink one. Beware though that you wouldn't finish the game sober. Far from it.
Also for the record, if I do finish my new SPN fic, Paul will totally make a guest appearance, even if by name only *makes promise to self* I'll see whether I want to imply Alva/Paul too, btw...
I haven't been feeling that well today so tomorrow I'll take it easy - before the Big Moment, ie the Big Football Match, YAY \o/ - and I think I'll rewatch the whole season. I need to bask in the weirdness that is Miracles; its different solved mysteries and its - sadly - unresolved arc. Then I'll watch the pilot of Psych, which download is still crawling. Going from Miracles to Psych should be quite the experience ;-)
Then Doctor Who - dude, it's a good thing I never meant to go into the series spoiler free because it's apparently an impossible mission *blink* - and then, on Monday, The 4400 heee! It'll be a great tv weekend *nods*
