Hello from Breuillet *waves*

How ironical is that entry? Very, and I'll tell you why; just yesterday I was writing my first postcards to some lj!people and telling them how I didn't miss lj - which is true as the longer I'm away from it, the harder it usually is to get back in the whole lj!headspace - and here I am today, writing an entry. Life is funny, ain't it?

Yeah but, I mean, I'm still in Breuillet right now and we're heading to The Middle of Nowhere, aka Duras tomorrow and I won't have anything computer or tv related and it's like, I don't mind not using the computer even if it's here because I'm really busy with doing all kinds of other things that I'm not used to doing in Choisy, but the idea of being completely cut off from everything that means Modern World? Is a bit scary, when I you think of it, so I thought, what the hell, do yourself a favour and write a little entry. It doesn't mean anything if you do, right? Right!

So yeah, I'm having a blast here; the sun is definitely present, I'm all tanned and shit! I also burnt my face but that's another story. On the bright side, it did make my eyes look greener so it wasn't so bad *is vain* We're walking a lot and visiting a lot too. It's awesome cause Breuillet is in the country but it's only 8km from the sea so it's like we have the best of two worlds *loves* I took some pics and I'll share them with you when I'm back, anyway ;-) Also, being that from the six kids that we are, I'm the only one present, I'm pampered like you wouldn't believe! Note to self: don't get used to it. I'm also reading a whole lot and I have to second what everyone said about Le Temps n'est Rien The Time Traveller's Wife, that book is incredible!

OH and DUDE! I found the spinner ring I've been looking for since SPN came to my life for several months! It was fate, fate, I tell you. So we went to Royan yesterday afternoon after a gorgeous walk along the coast, and we were in the middle of those, you know, shops for tourists? Nothing really necessary, just little stuff that you'd only buy on vacation and there was this little stall that sold jewelery and I wasn't really paying attention only I was because I did a double take when I realised that right there, in front of me, was the ring I wanted! The one I kept looking for but never found and dude, fate I tell you! I found the ring in Royan where we decided to go on a whim after Le Chemin des Douaniers. Even better yet, I found the right size, which isn't always an easy feat as it sometimes feels like the universe decided to make all kinds of size for a ring except yours, but no it was there! And it was cheap. And maybe I wanted to cry a little. Or not, but I definitely made a little bounce *cough*

So anyway, I'm having the time of my life here and I'm recharging my batteries like whoa ;-) Hope you're all doing good, flist! See you on the flip side, or something *kisses*
