A Great RL Story this time
Dec. 30th, 2006 11:27 pmOh man, Takeshi: A l'Assaut du Château will be the death of me! The W9 version, not the M6 one, btw. I'm not even into tv games but for Takeshi's Castle? I totally make an exception. There're a gazillion different challenges and some of them I'm not so fond of because I always feel like they're truly hurting themselves but overall they're so cute and stupid and just so fucking hilarious that I'm always afraid I'll crack a rib or something. My favourite challenge? The Hand Job Show of Hands one. God! I thought I was going to hyperventilate. Does anyone else even know/remember the show? And like it because if you think it was so stupid it hurts, then, well, it won't be as funny, really :-)
Yeah anyway. Today has been a busy and great day. The Esu moved into their new house, which was formerly my grandparents' house. Over the last year we changed everything and the interior has been made new and today was D-Day. The Parental Unit had gathered a team of winners, if I may say so: The Esu - obviously - La Globule, The Twins, Teacher Boy and The Mouse. We started at 10.00 am, divided ourselves into three sub-teams and everything went like a charm. By 7.00 pm everything was pretty much in its new place and just - it felt surreal to see the new house... with its new look, the new furniture. Odd but grand. We'd promised my grandfather that we would keep the house and though it wasn't easy as such, it's a promise we kept and it's a wonderful feeling, really. I mean, I think I've already mentioned it but, that house, he built it himself. From scratch. There was nothing and he built it all... my mother and godfather grew up in that house and my cousins, sister and I kinda did as well and it was hell thinking that we might lose it after my grandfather's death - my grandmother had died six years earlier - and to think that a new generation is now living inside, well, it makes us so incredibly happy that there're no words for it *g*
Back to fannish things. So the trailer for the new episode of SPN has been shared, uh? I'm afraid I downloaded it. I'm apparently violating my 100% Spoiler Free SPN policy and I don't even care! So okay I haven't watched it yet but it's sitting on my HD as we speak, so let's just say that it's only a matter of time. Sorry but January, 11th is just too far away, I couldn't resist!
Oh! There's another episode of Takeshi, must go!
