I ramble, therefore I am

I can't really explain why because, sure, work has been hectic the past two weeks but nothing out of the ordinary, and yet I'm absolutely dead on my feet. Getting out of bed has been torture all week long. Same thing with Cookie so, I don't know, there must be something in the air.
Still on the subject of work, yesterday was quite interesting (though tedious and boring as well, depending on whether we could go to the lectures we wanted or not). We participated in a "Teaching Differently" seminar; the different lectures and workshops dealt with the different new technologies teachers have at their disposal to teach. My absolutely favourite "panel" was this round table in a room with comfy sofas and chairs, which was nice enough, but what I found brilliant was that the discussion was held in Second Life!
I'm not used to second life so this really was original to me, to see professionals using a virtual world to hold their discussion. There was an elf! And an avatar that looked like Dr Manhattan. It was so much fun. Also, very interesting as discussions go. Definitely my favourite panel.
On the fannish front, a little Kaamelott marathon was done the past few days ; no matter how many times I watch that show - and I have the DVDs so I've watched it many times - it never ever fails to make me laugh. I know the jokes and lines by heart, I know the punchlines, I know everything, and yet it still makes me laugh each and every time. Without fail. I love that show so much ♥ ♥

moimoietmoi, which is sad - and I can't wait to be with the girls. MCR fest will happen, a yummy Japanese restaurant will be visited, Starbucks will be raided and other many awesome things will be done. Can't wait!
