Jul. 9th, 2009 11:09 amRandom question for you guys. Because I'm working on a pretty tedious project, so if you some of you want to answer, it'll give me some distraction every now and then. I have gmail opened all day when I work - I couldn't breathe if that weren't the case, I think [/drama queen]).
Do you feel guilty when you don't update for some time? I mean, feel guilty towards your flist? I've seen entries where people apologised for not having updated for a while or for not updating more regularly and it made me wonder. Because I don't. Feel guilty, I mean.
I'm just curious as to how people view their updating habits, I guess. I think it's pretty fascinating the way we all relate to our LJs and relate to the people on our flists, so, well, that was my random question of the day.
And speaking of not updating. I can't wait to be tomorrow night because I'll be leaving for four whole days in Normandie \o/ Tuesday being our fête nationale (or, as non-French people call it, 'Bastille Day') it's a holiday and I decided to faire le pont, meaning I took Monday off so that I can have four uninterrupted days of non-work'ness :-) So, Normandie it is, and 'our' beach. I'm hoping the sun will come back but even if it doesn't, I don't care; the sea is gorgeous at all times, so even if I can't sunbath and wet my toes, I'll be appreciating the view and the long walks and the landscape. Plus the family, of course *g* I canno't wait, wheee!
PS: Another random topic. I've been entering grades in our database and some students have very original names. I've found an Aristote (Aristotle), a Ulysse (Ulysses) and a Lancelot. As well as a Bathsheba and a David... who happen to be siblings.
