POI - except not
Jun. 20th, 2012 10:57 amMy subject is a warning in disguise. This post is of no interest. Incidentally, sorry to the Person of Interest fans, who might have thought this was an entry of squee about the show!
Just realised that I had Tuesday off! What a lovely surprise ;-) I meant to start working For Realz on my thesis this week, guess I don't have any excuse now, do I? I just need to decide whether I want to sleep in and chill all morning before heading to the library and work the whole afternoon or get up early and head to the library to work till, say, mid afternoon. Decision, decision! In any case, a day off is always enjoyable, if only because you are in control of your own schedule instead of having no choice but to let work decide for you.
Speaking of work, after leaving the Hectic stage, it entered the Boring stage where I'm stuck dealing with repetitive tasks all day. I can't wait for the 4th of July to arrive when I'll - happily - bid goodbye to said tasks and finally have the opportunity to concentrate on the parts of my job that are stimulating and cool. Impatience, thy name is Mouse!
Ok so I started this entry yesterday and meant to post it then but we spent the evening at my parents' to celebrate Father's Day (we couldn't do it before) and when I got home I read fic, watched some random tv and completely forgot that I'd started writing an entry. Mind you, it's not as if anything new came up: RL is busy as ever and I'm already behind my Summer shows. Sounds familiar? lol I am thrilled to have True Blood and Suits back but I never seem to find the time to watch them. Now I feel bad for both those shows >_< I still love you both, I promise! I'll have to catch up before White Collar is back or else they'll think I play favourite. I watched another sneak peek last night and omg, I so want that season premiere!!
In case you were wondering, this entry is proof that I'll never need to have something to say to say it on LJ lol I also wanted to take a little break from Boring Tasks. Guess I need to go back to them nao? :-/ I hope your day is much more exciting than mine is, you guys! And if it's not, I sympathise! I truly do #BoredPeopleAssemble
