Péril en la demeure
Oct. 1st, 2015 10:03 am(Sneaking in at work to post this now or else I'm afraid the entry will sit in my draft folder for ages and never get posted, victim of the "it's been too long now, I've lost the momentum" syndrom).
I've been in a very fannish mood this week. I've been basking in the Man from U.N.C.L.E afterglow, for one thing; after scrolling for ages over at Tumblr and finding many fun posts (although always frustrating because Tumblr isn't a platform that I think encourages or facilitates interactions between fans so I haven't engaged with any of the posters) I've suddenly remembered to check out DW and see whether a Muncle kink meme had been created (spoiler alert; of course it had), meaning I've been busy reading page after page of aforementioned fandom kink meme, replying to prompts that push my buttons and posting some new ones of my own. Between AO3 and the meme, I've been having a lot of fun. (Oh, and we're seeing the film again tonight, as it happens, so yay!)
Then on Monday, one of my favourite (French) tv shows came back. We've been waiting for the second series of Les revenants for three years. Guess they pulled a Sherlock on us. The first two episodes were as creepy and enigmatic as usual and as confusing. In other words, can't wait for the rest of the series <3 It'll be over quickly as there're eight episodes total but we'll enjoy them to the fullest. Another thing I enjoy with Les Revenants is that it's one of the shows Cookie and I watch with my parents (like POI and Daredevil) so we're back to our lovely TV Nights together, a nice bonus.
Lastly, the Star Trek Continues team released a new episode, which delights me to no end. Those ST episodes are always absolutely brilliant; I feel like a kid again, discovering the original show on tv, with all its old skool visual and sound effects and its incredible and clever characters. Such a lovely bout of nostalgia ;)
Anyway, to make a long story short (and re-reading this entry before I post it), I'm in a fannish mood and wish I were at home, all bundled up on my couch with one of our many blankets, with a cup of tea and my laptop and enjoying a wonderful day of fannish activities...
Ok, I'll go and make myself some tea now, and dream of the rest ;)
