Oh, you guys, I feel absolutely rubbish! I was feeling better - or I thought I was - and then bam, bronchitis strikes back! I've been dragging myself since the beginning of the week and tonight I'm kinda dead. My plan for the evening was cancelled and even though it was lovely (Cookie and I were supposed to see Paddington 2 with a cousin of mine), I was actually happy about it because couch! Blankets! Bliss ;) Also, we've rescheduled for next week, so it's all good. Speaking of which, only two days before I'm off work for two weeks, I cannot wait!
Anyway! This was the part when I whine because whining about being sick is the only good thing about being sick, right? ;)
Highlight of the week (so far because the rest of the week is going to be quite joyful what with my godmother and cousins coming from Rome to spend the week and celebrate a) my godmother's 60th birthday and b) Christmas with us) was seeing Star Wars: the Last Jedi on Monday evening. I enjoyed it tremendously. (There won't be any signing the petition for this fan!). Were there some things I wish had gone differently? I suppose. Did it ruin the enjoyment for me? Absolutely not. I'm very happy with that new installment and hope to see it again during the holidays.
I'm hoping to watch many a thing during the holidays. Our plan to catch up and be up-to-date with DW in time to watch "Twice Upon a Time" live (well, Day+1) has failed. We're at episode 9x05 so, yeah, we're a bit behind, aren't we? *cough* Never mind, though, we'll have a lot of time to keep going during those two weeks and I'm sure we'll reach our goal (that is, to meet Thirteen). Then Travelers returns to Netflix on the 26th so we'll catch up with the season then. There's Lethal Weapon which we haven't caught up with either, and The Good Place for me. And let's not talk about Lucifer season 3 which we still haven't started! Come on! Same thing with The Expanse, season 2. I've been meaning to watch it for the longest time but there just aren't enough hours in a day, don't you think?
Ok, posting this now then I plan on putting on my PJs, getting even comfier and cozier than I already am - and I'm already quite comfy and cozy so that's saying something ;) - and falling asleep in front of some cheesy Christmas films *nodnod*
