Before we leave for my sister's for our first raclette of the year, which follows our first tartiflette of the year from last night (if you're not familiar with those dishes, suffice to say that having them two days in row is far from ideal healthy meal wise but such is life!) I'm going through a bit of a revival moment this morning. We went to see SW:TLJ again at the beginning of the week, which put me in a SW mood so I thought I'd pay a little visit to AO3 to read me some fic. I found a very good one, which happens to have been written by Astolat (unsurprisingly) which, in turn, made me crave some good ole Astolat fic and led me to her POI page. While starting my third fic in row, I had a feeling of "oh, how I missed this", which seemed a bit odd as feelings go because, surely, I couldn't miss reading fic as I do it on a regular basis? Except not exactly, apparently. When I thought hard about it, I had to come to the conclusion that I hadn't read a single one for ages, a good couple of months, I think. For shame!

Now, in addition to wanting to read more fic, I want to read SW novels as well (although I don't know where to begin, the last time I read SW novels was back in high school, definitely a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away!) and watch POI all over again (mind you, actually finishing the show would be a good idea to start with! I'm halfway through the last season, I think, and couldn't even begin to tell you why I stopped). Since I still haven't caught up with all the shows I wanted to catch up with, I have the feeling things aren't going to improve anytime soon, fannish-wise.

I really do need to go see my boss and ask him to give me some days off to Catch Up With Things.
