[I wrote the following entry this morning but didn't got around to post it to LJ because I couldn't access it at all and thought it was down for the count. I tried again ten seconds ago and, no, still down for me. Then I thought, well, maybe the problem is a browser problem? Tried another and bingo, I can access LJ just fine if I'm not using Chrome. Ok, then.]

LJ has been down since last night and it brought me back to a time when LJ being down felt like the end of the world and turned into the biggest of frustration. Now it's more of an inconvenience but also, damn, why is it down when I want to update? Yes, frustration is not very far away ;)

Another post written during a lazy and quiet week-end morning, wrapped up in my blankets and feeling all mellow. It's Sunday morning (well, it is as I'm writing this, although I don't know what time of the day it will be when I can actually post) and quite foggy outside, all is quiet and languid. I've just finished the book I was currently reading and I'm now lazying around online... as you do ;) I'm waiting for Cookie to wake up so that I can make brunch; we have charcuterie leftovers from yesterday's raclette with the FP, which I couldn't eat due to Lent having started on Wednesday, so we thought a little brunch would be nice today. We'll go out in the afternoon - no solid plan as of yet, maybe a movie, maybe some shopping, although we'll most certainly find our way to a little coffeeshop or tea shop at one point for some afternoon tea. We're planing on having a chill day, in any case :) [In the end, and after some mishaps, we had ourselves a long stroll along the Seine as the sun came out and it was just our kind of crisp weather ♥]

Fannish wise: I'm still consuming everything I can that pertains to Zac Efron. I found out about this other film of his, namely The Lucky One on Friday, and it definitely pushed some of my buttons in terms of broken characters trying to get their lives back and finding people to connect with.

In non Zac Efron news, I've finished Altered Carbon on Netflix, which I really enjoyed - it had flaws and was maybe a bit too ambitious but I really liked the characters and the characters dynamics as well as the whole idea and philosophy behind it all so I was satisfied with the show. I've watched the premiere of Here and Now which intrigued me enough that I'm planning on watching the second episode, at least. I'm hoping they'll tone done some of the characterisation, though. Sometimes things come on very strong in a pilot and I thought it was definitely the case here; apparently they decided to forego all nuance and subtlety when it comes to introducing characters. But overall it piqued my interest. What else... Cookie and I are catching up with Travelers (s2), I think we're up to 2x09. Enjoying that season immensely. I'm really curious to see how this is going to end because everything is such a mess for now!
