En mai, fais ce qu'il te plaît

The day is almost over here but there is still plenty of time for me to wish you a Happy First of May. Here is my traditional offering of lilies of the valley for good luck for the remaining of the year.



I had a lovely and chill day with Cookie. Then on the way home, we heard about two totally different news; the first one about my aunt E.'s mother passing away (she was 99yo and died quietly, in her sleep, surrounded by my aunt and godfather... which is more than so many people could ever dream of), the second one about a cousin giving birth to a healthy little boy. Such a "Life happens" kind of moment.

No real point to make here, just finding out the news almost back to back was a bit strange. Birth and death in the same episode as - wait, was it Stuart or Vince who said it? Oi, I don't remember...
