I procrastinate therefore I am.

More or less cryptic message to
babycakesin: prepare to cry, mate... Remember our little Donovan v Donald convo? Well, say goodbye to Donovan - it seems it's official. Sorry for your loss, honey.
Also re: SW on the 18th in France? Henry and I might go on that day, yay! He's going to get two tickets from his CE and we'll try and go on Wednesday - at the Grand Rex too *bounce* Now the real question is, how early will we have to arrive in order to have a) good seats and actually b) seats, period? Though having the tickets will already save us some time. Hopefully SW III won't disappoint me like the other two movies did *crosses fingers* But even if does, well so what? I still have the Original One, anyway *clings*
And it seems I've been tagged twice for that Film Meme going around [by
stacy_l and
seiyaharris] so I'm caving in and replying here - and also because I have to go to the uni in twenty and I don't wanna so I'm procrastinating. I know it's only a three-hour class but today? Just meh.
1) Total number of films I own on DVD/Video:
On DVD, I'd say sixty-ish - I usually buy tv series as opposed to films so if I counted those too we would get a higher number, obviously. As for video, I'd say around a hundred fifty-ish? Here again, the films as opposed to the shows. Also, I had a VCR longer than I had a DVD player, so...
2) The last film I bought:
I don't remember *blink* Did I mention that I buy shows more than I buy movies? Oh yeah, I did. Good. Cause it's true... but hmm, okay I last bought the Hornblower series, so it might count as movies after all *nodnod*
3) The last film I watched:
On the telly or in theater? For the former it was an umpteenth rerun of Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade, the latter... I'm having trouble remembering actually, I'm afraid it was back in october - but I think it was Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
4) Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me:
Fried Green Tomatoes
Little Women (1994)
You've Got Mail
While You Were Sleeping
I can't think of a fifth one all of a sudden *scratches head* Or I would but it would be, like, Star Wars and it's sorta three films so... Back to the four I listed - the first two because I think they tell beautiful stories and the last two because they're sweet and mushy and sometimes I just want simple stories with lots of mush and sappiness *g*
5) I'm supposed to tag five persons here, so consider yourself tagged if you were waiting for the opportunity to do that meme.
I'm really not a film nut - definitely a tv series one though, in case it escaped your notice. Actually,
babycakesin is the film nut in our relationship - that's her job. My job is the tv series part. See? We have the perfect team going lol
