OMG today has been one hell of a good day! First okay it's the weekend, blah blah blah. Then I come home from work and what do I find in my mailbox? My dS season 1 boxset! Finally! Due South goodness just for me! And thenThe Esu + 1 - The Esu + Henry's nephew - pick me up and our merry family merrily goes to the mall in order to go on a hunt and find myself an item I've been coveting for, like, a hundred years? Minimum. And our hunt was successful because I? Treated.myself.with.a.laptop!!

I have my own L.A.P.T.O.P - Which I bought with my own money and just *dies*

*comes back to life* *runs in the room* *trips over own feet* *does a stunt in order to miss laptop* *rubs arm and bum* Ouch!

No wait! LAPTOP!

Also. Pic. Why? Because Henry - who knows me a tiny bit too well, methinks - decided to take a picture of aforementioned l.a.p.t.o.p before he went back home because - and I quote - "I know InsertRealLifeNickname. She's going to want to share with her internet friends. She'll need the material", unquote.

Damn, how did he guess?

So. Meet Clark's little brother: Charlie!



I know, the pic isn't the best - whereas Charlie is, of course - but it's from a cell phone and all.

Also also. Not to turn all drama queen on you or anything but Charlie and I?

Were meant to be together. I'll tell you why. Because in the end, I bought it for 250€ less than its original price - which was just too expensive for me. The laptop certainly was shiny and all but I didn't want to go for it. I mean, I knew that technically, it was a low price for a laptop but that didn't mean it was a low price for my bank account, right? Then we found it in another shop 50€ cheaper, which actually gave me some hope. I was still not keen on getting it though, so we kept looking and suddenly bam! Lovely price at BHV - which was a surprise, really. But it didn't stop here because when the guy checked on his computer, it wasn't even the price announced, ie it wound up being even cheaper yet. He actually checked twice but no, the price was really that much cheaper *beams* A real bargain. So see? Charlie really wanted to come home with me. He knew he would be loved and cherished and okay, shutting up now.

So now I have to familiarise myself with the shiny Windows XP. And note to self: stop laughing at those who have it. WXP doesn't have more security holes than anything else. It's good, it's your friend *nodnod*

Just so you know, I may spam you tonight. I'm sorta hyper *cough* Then again, there's SG on the telly and it has bluerobed!Daniel, so maybe not.

ETA: Je change de sujet complètement là, mais j'ai pas oublié ma proposition pour le Rassemblement Slash *g* Je ferais une entrée plus tard ce week-end, je pense... On va essayer de rendre ça un peu plus concret, déjà *g*

Yeah, sorry. Clark is - and will always be - special to me because it was the first computer I ever had... actually, it's still the same Clark la Casa Del Mouse received as a gift eight years ago. Except well, he did change quite a bit, I'll admit lol He went through a lot of upgrades, but he's still my Clark, you know?

My grand-father gifted us with the computer one Christmas eight years ago. Because the man is one hell of a complex mix between olf-fashioned view on life and modern thinking - well, he was before he got so sick - and he wanted his grand-children to know how to use a computer because he knew that it was a must. So he bought two computers. One for my sister and I - well, for the whole family, really - and one for my two cousins. I don't think I'll ever not be grateful for what he did *g*

But Charlie will be special too because I bought it myself *g*

But I digress *g* I hope you'll get your computer soon - or soonish? - and well, I can do excited on your behalf, no problem lol
