Of fandom and RL

So yesterday I took an hour off my quite studious schedule to sneak off to the mall and treat myself with the first part of Charmed S6. And, as soon as I was home, I took another hour, well, forty-two minutes to watch another favourite Chris episode, namely "Chris-Chrossed". Seriously, this ep is love, love! Also, it made me fall in love with Bianca/Chris all over again.

And see, I thought of doing something wild, as in make a little list of some of my favourite het pairings, for I do have those, slash whore that I am. The only thing is even if I root for a het pairing in canon, chances are I'll still read slash in fanon. And by that, I mean 100% chances. Just one of those things *shrug*

So let's see. Charmed: Bianca/Chris and Piper/Leo | Angel: Lilah/Wes | Once and Again: Rick/Lily. Actually, that series? I used to call it My Very Het show because it was all about the het, and I loved it to pieces | Firefly: Zoe/Wash | The Pretender: Miss Parker/Tommy | SG1: I'd say Vala/Daniel as well though it's purely sexual here. And Sha're/Daniel, of course.

*scratches head* I know I have other ships, I just know it. But I'm drawing a blank here. Oh well *shrug*

Boy, I'm always tired lately *rubs eyes* It's kinda totally my fault, so I'm not even complaining, merely stating a fact. Also, the upcoming week is going to be quite full: tomorrow La Globule comes back home. Julien and Emilie will be with him; Julien has been admitted to a sous-officier school and he's leaving on Tuesday morning to maybe become part of the Gendarmerie Nationale if he decides it's his vocation. On Thursday and Friday I have my competitive exam; seven hours on the first day and five hours on the second. Which means that til then, I'm still reading a gazillion books, of course. Then I'm free. On Sat I'm celebrating my freedom with Rissy and Sunday it's another celebration with the French Posse, including french_hobbit who'll be in Paris by then. Woohoo! It does suck though because on Thursday babycakesin will be in Paris too - she's back to France omg! - but I'll be kinda dying sitting an exam in a room with a thousand other candidates, so, you know, kinda busy *sigh*

Oh believe me, I do need all the luck wishes I can get. It's nothing like university exam where you really can prepare yourself properly, and also, even if you do pass, if you're not at the top of the list, you might not succeed anyway.

So it's a long winded way to say thank you lol I definitely appreciate it *g*

Lol Thanks, you're a doll. The thing is, it's not a regular uni exam, it's a competitive exam; the kind where you have 2.000 candidates and they only take, like, sixteen. If you're lucky. So even if you do succeed, you might not be among the list, anyway, you know?
