Yes, YES! It enthralled me - purely and simply. I'm not exactly a fan of fantasy and I was expecting your usual take at magic so when I started reading and realised that no, Jim Grimsley wasn't going to do it as I expect but had his own way of writing magic, I fell hard for the whole thing. I couldn't get enough of it, really. It was, well, pure magic, all right lol
And the Last Herald-Mage books are in my To Buy List, but I'm so afraid to cry and cry that I keep on delaying their purchase. But I'll read the series *nodnod*
