In My Time of Lazying.

I was so knackered last night - or was that this morning - when I got home that I didn't do anything that I'd planned: no N3 no SPN and no J&B, nothing. Just me and my bed. And since the house has been full once again - third week in a row that we have a batch of cousins spending the night - I couldn't exactly lock myself in my room to watch it all. But since half of the batch has left and the two left are busy doing their own things, I thought of treating myself with some nice Eppes watching.
No long-ass review this time. Not because I didn't like the episode but okay see the icon? This is my brand new Lazying Around icon - courtesy of
babycakesin - and I feel so lazy right now that I just can't even ramble like I'm used to. Which, I'm thinking, might not be such a bad thing for you. So anyway, some quick thoughts about Numb3rs 3x02 "Two Daughters":
Edgy is dark, isn't he dark? [/SPN ref] But seriously he's dangerous, he's, well, edgy and I love him to pieces. And then Don showed us what he got too and oh the love! I was so ready for Ian to make the shot and when we realise it was Don... oh that was one hell of a great scene! I just love everything that has to do with Don and his angrier side. It's like he's always so restrained, like he always has such tight reins on his control, and when it slips... well it's a thing of beauty. It's rough and a bit dark and raw and pretty sexy too, incidentally. I also love the idea of Charlie and Alan being his anchor, being his happy place. No wonder he spends so much time at Charlie's.
I quite enjoyed how the one who kept his head clear throughout the whole episode was Charlie. He was cool and reserved and he kept his temper even and he rocked!
So Alan is staying! I have to say it fills me with glee as I really didn't want to take the risk of losing all those Eppes moments we get each time. That's one of the reasons why I enjoy Numb3rs so much so that would have made a bit sad. But he's staying and everything is right with my world :-)
And speaking of the Eppes' moments - OHMYGOD but how CUTE was that last scene? I had to rewind it a dozen times because the cute, it killed me sweetly. Charlie and Don shouldn't be allowed to be so cute together... except that they totally should, of course, but you know what I mean. They looked so brotherly and so big brother v little brother that it made my heart sing! I just loved how we could still hear them argue like two little boys even though we couldn't see them anymore while Alan was trying to be all serious ♥ ♥ ♥ And then Alan accentuated the cute and sweet and family sense and then he stole the joypad and Charlie was sulking and just - *flails*
On the subject of the last scene of "Two Daughters" - I'm gonna show you why I love the Eppes boys so much and why theirs is one of the best families you can find around! And if you still don't see why I love them the way I do even after watching that scene? Then you're dead inside!

Also dude, consider the tag as spoilery if you don't want to know anything about the third season, okay? Also also, I've been dreaming of getting a flashback in Numb3rs and so far nothing but I'm thinking 'hmm, maybe the Show Me Why Don't You Just Show Me scene could do' :-)
Oh and I've finally downloaded the 'new' pilot of Heroes and ohhhh is it Monday yet, IS IT? *dies*
