Took a day off work yesterday because I was sick as a dog the whole morning - even went to the doctor and everything. I caught a bug that is harassing a lot of people at the moment. Thanks *sigh* If I could have stayed home today again I totally would have but time is money apparently and time off work is money off my bank account - little bugger! - so I'll be brave and shit and work all day... It'll be fine though because I think we're gonna have a slow day; at least, we're having a slow morning, which is why I'm posting this even though I was going to wait tonight to do so ;-)
Hey I haven't commented on Numb3rs yet, have I? Quick thoughts because am a tad too tired to do the rambling thing but I liked the episode - it was pretty slashy for a start and it gave us a lot about Colby and it was quite enjoyable. I remember a time when Colby was just New Guy... things do change, don't they?
I felt so bad for him during the episode... he trusted and loved Dwayne, risked a lot to help him because of that trust and, in the end, he lost him anyway and he lost a bit of Don's trust in the process... though hey, kudos to him for having the balls to call Don on his own actions in previous episode. Maybe not the smartest move per se, but still...
As for the slashy POV, it really was a story about Colby's ex coming back to his life and Colby's new man, ie David, trying to help Colby cope with the whole thing. Were there some new David/Colby post-episode stories posted?
And then we had the whole Larry-Charlie thing. Me, I don't think I'll ever get tired of Charlie being the smug little shit he is. Because it's not as if he didn't have every right to be... no wait, what I mean is, if Larry's paper could turn from good to great, Charlie would know and of course he'd want to help. Besides, the problem was that he felt left out, so it's a whole story altogether. But okay re: his helping - just because he has every right to have confidence in his own abilities doesn't mean he has to proceed with it and I loved how in the end he told Larry that the paper was the work of a genius, even if he couldn't help but add that it'd have benefited from the work of another genius, but, hey, the little guy just wants to work with his buddy and all. Aww, bless!
Alan does have a good influence on his boy, doesn't he? Loved how he always seems to know what to say *loves on Alan* I also love that Charlie is really listening to people around him.
Something else I enjoyed was Daddy!Eppes 'lecturing' Larry about the pride thing; ha, it's not just Charlie who needs to be taught some lessons. And I just love that Alan isn't being fooled by Larry and goes straight to the core of the problem ;-)
And then when everything was done, we have the lovely cube-puzzle-thingie porn and awww that was so cute!
Hee no wait, something else! Wasn't Charlie in top form that episode? lol I mean, I know he was compensating but the way he involved himself in the case and his excitement cracked me up, he was like the energize bunny: the little tug of war with Don in the kitchen made me smile like crazy and the way he jumped in front of the blackboard while trying to show the place where the code was made me laugh; Charlie, you do look like a kid sometimes! But I do love that side of you - and Megan and David too, obviously. I can't get enough of the fond looks and amused smiles they seem to have on a regular basis as far as Charlie is concerned. He's like the little brother of the group... like a little mascot or something. A mascot with a über!high IQ who can help solve crime but also a very cute mascot *g*
Oh sweet, I've just registered a British girl who lives in Choisy-le-Roi and was born in Winchester - anyone having that kind of link with SPN has to be a great person, right? In the crazy world of a fangirl, at least, which is just fine as this is my world, yay \o/
ETA: And I've just registered someone with the same last name as mine! Except his is Breton instead of Italian, still, that was funny - I was wondering when/if I'd 'meet' someone with the same last name. It's done *g*

I hope you're feeling a whole lot better soon. Being at work while you're feeling ill must be of the suck.

Numb3rs were...fuck I loved this ep. It was...I don't think it could be slashier if Colby and Dwayne fucked on screen. *happy sigh*
Colby sure has evolved from his New Guy days, huh? *g*
Oh, and did you get my mail? Possibly there's two of them, I don't know if I dreamt that I sent you the first one or if I actually did it. /crazy

loverpartner out. *g*Charlie was so cute! God, the file tug-of-war killed me, as did Charlie jumping and both times David and Megan looked at each other and smiled, and David's, 'But you persevered.' Hee! Oh, and Megan's, "Oh, curtate cycloid. {snip} Right, of course." *bg* Mascot, lol.
Poor Charlie! He did feel left out. *hugs* The puzzle at the end rocked, though!

Charlie was in top form and awfully cute, I so second that.

woohoo! go you!
one question, so that you'll be able to answer without having to use the dreaded sentence 'please don't reply to this comment', which is torture when it comes to NOT answering but whatever. Anyway: ... wait, no, I forgot the question... oh okay, go for it lol
