castalieWatched Hereos 2x04 and oh I love that show so much! It's getting better and better with each new episode and considering the amount of love I had right with the pilot, it's saying something! Does it have flaws? Well, let me think about that for a second. It has been made by human beings who aren't perfect so I'd say 'yes'? Now the question would be, do I care? And this time the answer would be a big fat 'no'. I'm enjoying that show like crazy and it's the only thing that counts *nods*
So in conclusion, I guess I'm all about: Heroes is ROCKING MY WORLD! The End. Except I'm totally lying cause I *have* to talk about it so this is far from being the end of it.
Peter! Peter does have an empathy thing going on with him absorbing somehow the powers of those around him and he thought about the same thing as Kaja and I did and if it does end up being conclusive then his power ROCKS! Dude, imagine what he could do, then? I'm bouncing in anticipation, this is so good!
Claire impresses the hell ouf of me - man, that girl definitely has guts. I couldn't believe what she did but she did it! She's a force to reckon with, that's for sure. And that scene at the morgue? Was creepy as hell. Also, now that we know that she can survive this - that is, that she can come back from this, well, the possibilities are... kinda scary but fascinating too. Mucho love for that character as well. It also never fails to make me smile to think that Wolverine has a rival of sorts... and she's a little cheerleader from Texas. Ha! Giving her that power was a streak of genius :-)
Hiro. Oh, Hiro! I love you SO MUCH that there are no words in the whole galaxy to convey the feeling. God, you're just so... you're brilliant and fantastic and funny and cute and then you totally throw us through a loop and you give us future!Hiro and OHMYGOD!
Future!Hiro! All black and slick and English-speaking and centered and self-confident and - *dies* And hee in future!Hiro's futur Peter has a scar and somehow this spoke of battles and wounds and darkness - or it could be just an accident, don't burst my bubble, okay! - and this is just so delicious! Oh Heroes, what you do to me ♥ ♥
I love that they keep messing with our heads... they give us new twists, new developments all the time and some of them are cool though expected, like Creepy Daddy and his Group Without Initials and Creepy Black Guy with the ass-kicking power kidnapping Matt, and then there're the twists that are just too awesome like future!Hiro coming to deliver a message to Peter.
I also loved, nay adored, how things all seem to go so much faster... how things are all coming together, the fact that the characters are all gathering somehow. It was like they upped the ante and I'm so there!
Speaking of which, Mohinder and Peter? Are absolutely fantastic together. You know how I never really watch my shows with my slash goggles on, I only put them when I come on-line and decide to let my inner slasher come out and play so canon-speaking I just think they have great chemistry together and I think their scenes were all kinds of awesome, but fanon-wise, I'm totally craving some Mohinder/Peter now! So I'm already with two pairings here: a hot and twisted one with Nathan/Peter and a not so twisted though still very hot one with Mohinder/Peter. Yeap, definitely works!
You know what it reminds me of? Lost back when I was completely addicted to it and when each new episode brought some new twists and surprises and I couldn't wait for the next one... it's like Heroes is my newseason 1 of Lost. I can only hope that the similarities stop here, though, cause I don't want to stop watching Heroes!
And now I'm gonna whinge a little because I haven't written a single fic, well a single line in forever and I miss it and feels like I won't ever write a new story, ever! I wish I could write on a regular basis *sigh* The worst thing is, I do have several plot bunnies, I do have dialogues and scenes all ready to be put down in words in my head and just - it's not happening, anyway. I'm not happy with that *pout* If I could force myself into writing, I'd do it - except it just doesn't work that way. So I'm waiting and hoping I haven't broken my writing mojo for all eternity *sigh*
