Lost my internet connexion early in the afternoon before I left and it was still lost when I got home. Methinks it was a good thing I wasn't home or I'm pretty sure I'd have been all pathetic and just looked at the little light blinking and blinking even though it's not supposed to and trying to will it to stop doing so with my superpowers.
But it's back now, even if it's crawling more than anything.
I'm still behind many fannish things, but I've just watched Dollhouse. I guess I have stuff to say about the premiere, but it'd feel my brain? Is stuck on one thing, namely the (extremely) short white dress of sexiness! Omg! I rewound that scene a couple of time? But, just - Eliza Dushku makes me sweat just by her mere existence so erm, seeing her dance in a little wee white dress? Too much to compute!
Apart from the white dress - ♥ ♥ - I really liked that pilot and am intrigued enough to want to tune in every week to learn more. Or, let's say that I hope the rest of the season will interest me like the premiere did *fingers crossed*
Also, I'll just have to remind myself that this a Whedon show - even if (not that there's any reason why he shouldn't do things differently) it felt different from his other shows somehow, familiar actors excluded - meaning I'll have to brace myself for pretty much everything happening in future episodes. I know I'll certainly forget at one point and then feel crushed that Joss Whedon did what he's very good at, meaning killing your favourite characters or breaking them into tiny little pieces, or breaking your favourite characters into tiny little pieces before killing them, thus making you cry, but it'll be my own fault for forgetting who's behind the wheel, I guess.
Oh, and if I do get hooked for good, I'll start crossing my fingers so that the show doesn't get cancelled. Because I feel this would drive me crazy. Looks like the kind of show that creates a gazillion questions, so to imagine never getting any answers? Makes me want to cry already. But, ok, thinking good thoughts here! *thinks good thoughts*

Hope your internet doesn't give you any more trouble.

Apparently it was internet all over, so it's a bit more reassuring, in the sense that it wasn't my livebox that was messed up.

Someone on my flist had the same reaction as you did with the premiere, she was bored with it, but really liked the second episode and thought it should have been the first instead, I'll go and see what's the deal; my download just finished...
