castalieStill riding the post-Adam Lambert concert high and it's almost 2.00AM and tomorrow morning, Cookie and I will totally hate ourselves! But whatever! I saw Adam Lambert and his band tonight ♥ ♥
The man is absolutely fantastic! He has such presence on stage! And his voice! Man, his voice is to die for, so powerful? And the way he moves up there, so sexy and sensual - even![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
greedy_dancer agreed he danced well and she's not someone who can be easily pleased when it comes to dancing! So that's a huge endorsement :-) He's a fucking great performer, it's a joy to see him. I was so happy the whole time I was there - dancing and singing and jumping and squeeing. Just happy.
And that's also something that I really enjoyed tonight, how the man seems to enjoy being there? Like he's having such fun performing for us. He'd be playful and giving the crowd what it wants (more sexy moves! More of him singing w/o music. More of him snogging Tommy! More innuendos! More AdamAdamAdam) but he would also laugh now and then - well, I guess giggle would be more accurate and, I don't know, I felt like he was having fun and that made me happy in return. He also seems to have a great time playing with his band and dancers. That's another thing to enjoy during the show - the way he interacts with Tommy and Monte and... omg, I'm drawing a blank all of a sudden! His drummer. As well as his dancers. And us, too :-)
Oh, also, it was interesting because the way he sang most of the songs was quite different from what we got in the album; different rhythm and arrangement and whatnot and that was great too. Like you're really experiencing something new somehow?
Speaking of the interaction with his band; let's take a moment to talk about him and Tommy. Oh, be still my heart! It was just what I was hoping for. And it started right from the start with the way Adam introduced Tommy: "Isn't she pretty?" lol And, indeed, Tommy is so incredibly pretty! With his makeup and his nonchalant attitude. And omg he has the most lickable (bitable too?) neck ever. Seriously.
I was hoping we'd get an Adam/Tommy kiss, right? As you're wont to do if you're an Adam Lambert fan. Well, we sure did! It was a thing of beauty, too. First they faced each other, then they smiled at each other, then Adam caressed Tommy's face and they snogged! Gorgeous kiss and just so hot. I TOTALLY LIKE(D) THIS! *thumb up* Add to that the hair-ruffling and the looks and the touches etc.
One can't take notes of everything that is being said during a concert - more the pity - but I definitely remember Adam wanting to know if we knew what "lube it up" meant and asking us what the French was for it.
Adam does naughty very well, truth be told. He has the naughtiest looks and postures ever. I love it when he plays coy. So at one point he was all "I see so many pretty faces here tonight. I'm inspired" then during the next song he decided to have sex with the lot of us? With sexual moves and those "I'm-about-to-come" faces and those "noises" and just to be sure we were all on the same page he went and performed fellatio on his mic. As you do. If we're being precise here, no, he did not deep-throat aforementioned mic but he definitely sucked the head off ;-p Then he turned coy and on us and shrugged and went "I'm inspired!" Like "what can you do, right?" Hee, never change Adam!
From what I've heard, Adam doesn't always do the same encore. I confirm that we got our own encore last night - not that he's not going to sing the same song later on, of course. What I found funny is that he didn't start performing the Very Last Song right away. He paused, talked with his band, asked us what we'd like to hear. Then he settled on a Led Zeppelin song and because it had been some time since they last played it, he talked to us a couple of minutes before the musicians "got it right". He was all "ok just be patient because it's been some time since we last played it. But I really want to sing it for you". Hee NO PROBLEM, ADAM, TAKE ALL THE TIME YOU NEED! And then they played it and lo, it was awesome! Unsurprisingly lol
I totally need to go and find all the videos that have been uploaded overnight \o/
So, anyway, I had the best of time. And!nicelyobsessed was our photographer and she took some lovely pics, which I'll share (well, a dozen of them) behind the following cut. There're also three little videos which aren't best quality but definitely worth it, imho. The'll come later, though.
This was Adam's outfit when he made his entrance... outfit that gave Major Motts to GD. It'd seem she has now seen everything as far as Motts-giving is concerned and nothing else can scare her from now on. Which means Gee has carte blanche do be as mottsy as he wants as of today! Notice the A (scarlet letter, eh?) on Adam's hat? He had (at least) another one on the back of his vest.

Monte and Adam. Not that you'd know due to how Monte's face is kinda hidden. Sorry, dude.

Size difference omg! *loves* Plus, those dude do touch each other a lot, don't they? That is, Adam can't seem to be able to keep his hands off Tommy. Not that we're complaining, mind you! And see the make up? There was a lot of it. And so many glitters, dude.
Tommy again. We had a kick-ass bass solo at one point. It was so awesome seeing this tiny dude rocking like that!
Come on, guess... Adam and Tommy again, whee!

I wanted to show how incredibly glittery and, yes, sparkly (I used to have issues with the term, now I can associate it with Adam Lambert so all is well in my world) but this one doesn't do the trick. Still, pretty Adam, I think.
As a side note, it was absolutely delightful being able to kiss my girlfriend in a crowded room without the slightest hesitation. I did get some snogging of my own :-p
