A day in the life meme - Day 2
From the comments I received in my last post, I guess I'm not the only one who enjoys looking at other people's lives, am I? Good to know! Because I have another day to post *points below*
Day in the life meme: Thursday

Breakfast in front of the computer (using one of my Most Favourites mugs. Twas one of the gifts I received from the FP for my 30th birthday, a custom made MCR mug ♥). I used my spare time this morning to post my previous entry.

Being lazy again and taking the bus. Again.

On our way to the station. See the background building, on the right? In the opening scene of Yamakasi (French film about Parkour), that's the actual building the characters/actors climb so that they can watch the sunrise from the roof. As a matter of fact, the opening scene in its entirety was shot in Choisy, we call that part of the city "la Dalle". Wait, here's the scene, if you're curious.

Work. Well sorta. I had a training (class?) about mind mapping in the morning. I didn't learn anything new per se, but it was interesting nonetheless.

It truly is spring at the moment in France, it's a delight. We had lunch outside, in a park.

Then, alas, we had to go back to work.

The task I was trying to accomplish when I took that picture was driving me insane!

Fastforward a couple of hours. Cookie and I were to meet with my sister, BIL and a friend for a show. Aforementioned show started at 8.15PM, so in the meantime Cookie and I went to have an early dinner at The Frog. Not the lightest of lunches, admittedly, but we knew we would be dancing and jumping like mad for three hours afterwards, so.

One of the many gates of the venue, waiting for my sis & al.

Inside the venue where people were getting in, wave after wave. It was packed! We had a blast. Funny thing, my mother even got to see us on the telly because, as we discovered upon arriving, it was broadcast live! So Mom, who was minding my nieces at my sister's, watched the show as well and saw us, twice I think, in the crowd :-)

After the show was over (it lasted 3 hours, dude, we were dead by the end of it! Though it was worth it, all right) the five of us got back to my sister's. We got back home with Mom.

1.30AM, home sweet home! I was still high on the evening so I couldn't join Cookie to bed immediately, which is why I'm typing this entry at past 2.00AM.
And posting at almost 3.00AM, it'd seem lol Another day done, go me! I scanned my flist quickly and I've tabbed a couple more "Day in the life" entries, awesome! It was such a good idea to resurrect that meme!
PS: Hopefully I didn't make too many mistakes, a) it's almost 3.00AM and even in French, I'm sure I'd mispell some words etc. and b) LJ spell check seems to have gone a bit bonkers and isn't helping at all right now; I can't even count on it to tell me what to correct. I'll see about that tomorrow night.

I think you called your Frog meal "lunch" instead of dinner but apart from that, your 3am isn't showing too much! :D
Glad you had fun! (That bagel looks delicious)

I did, I'll go and change it, thanks :-)
The bagel was delicious. Which reminds me that we have yet to try the bagels at Factory & Co at Bercy Village.

Whoa! You managed so much in one day! I'm pooped reading it all *g*
Your French spring looks like it's at exactly the same stage as ours in Dorset - warm and soft and gorgeous! We're not that far apart, so I don't know why I always think we'll be so different in the seasons - just France always seems so much nicer *g*
Thanks for more great pictures - I'm such a snoop!

I know what you mean about thinking our seasons are much different, I tend to think the same way. Just one of those things, I guess?
You're very welcome!

The bagel was delicious. I did regret not being able to eat a burger but I'll go after Lent is over and treat myself with some taste meat!
