I thought this was the beginning of the end, I tried to download the latest TVD and when I tried to use the Mediafire link, it gave me the following message "File Blocked for Violation - The file you requested has been blocked for a violation of our Terms of Service" aka the kind of message dreaded by fans all over the universe! But JDownloader didn't seem intimidated at all and has been downloading at fast speed so all is not lost. Yet.
I had a very nice Friday - lunch with my sister, dinner with the FP after work (we met for a little picnic on the Ponts des Arts before heading to Starbucks to end the evening) - which made up for today since I had to work this morning #Meh Mind, the afternoon will, again, make up for it, as I've planned on going to the cinema with SAM to see Hunger Games. I haven't read the book yet so I'm basically going blind but I'm thinking it'll be nice to get to the book afterwards, as I'm sure many details have been overlooked for the film adaptation.
Anyway. So. Today is Day 8 in the Day in the life of meme because a week has eight days, didn't you know? So I don't know how to count, so sue me *cough*
Day in the life - Day 8 (Wednesday)

The library in our building has been renovated and they were doing a little inauguration ceremony, to which some of us were invited.

Yes, there was food afterwards. Which I didn't even eat because a) I couldn't eat most of what was served and b) Cookie was waiting for me to join her for lunch.

Lunch at the park, we've been taking advantage of every bit of sun we were getting. Which seems to have been a smart idea because today's is all grey and cold and apparently the weather might go back to being colder all of next week :-/

Rice salad with tuna. With no eggs because of Lent and without tomatoes because, ok, we had no tomatoes left and we forgot to buy some. There. It was a minimimalist rice salad! But still tasty.

We went to St Michel after work to buy presents for my mother's birthday as well as a bday card for my cousin Priscilla. That's where I bought the card.

After the presents and the card were purchased, we picked our dinner, crêpe (ham-cheese-egg) for Cookie and a manakiche falafel for me (well, a falafel each). We thought it might be nice to have dinner on the banks of the Seine so that's where we headed. This picture is from the facade of a pub on our way to the Seine.

Bouquiniste - booksellers of used and antiquarian books as well as old cards etc. St Michel wouldn't be the same without them! That's what it looks like when they're working, then in the evening when they close, they literally close shops, I guess you could say, like this.

The view from the spot we'd chosen.

Again. You can see more people doing a little picnic on the banks. Though they were drinking more than eating, to be perfectly honest.

Manakiche and falafel. The manakiche I usually have is the 'moutabal' one, ie eggplant, cucumber, tomatoes and mint #Delicious

Pretty city is pretty.

I just love Paris :-)

Bateau-mouche! Hello, tourists! I usually wave at them; I consider it tradition for tourists on the boat and people on the banks/bridge to wave at each other.

A last pic, on our way to the station. A shot of the Napoléon bridge.
There. Officially done, now. Bye-bye daily meme, you were ever so fun ♥
