Sunday night... I don't want to go to bed! I'm so not ready to go back to work, you guys. I don't even know why. I mean, that week off work was unexpected and so absolutely delightful, I feel rested and ok, I should be prepared to get back to the grind... except I'm not. I have the feeling tomorrow morning is going to be awful! Obviously it'll be even worse if I don't go to bed at a reasonable hour (it's barely 10.30PM so I haven't crossed the line to unreasonable yet) but I just want to make today last...
At least I had a very pleasant Sunday. We had friends over for our first raclette of the year. That week has been like a food fest, really, what with Normandy and today... Really, there was a lot of good food going on. Case in point with those pictures:

We've been joking with Cookie that we're making fat to survive winter but, at this rate, we'll make enough for the next three winters to come lol We'll be going back to a more reasonable diet as of tomorrow ;)
After our friends left I mainlined Sleepy Hollow. To be honest, it sorta took me by surprise as I'd watched the premiere and hadn't been convinced that I should continue. But then Tumblr happened with its plethora of lovely gifsets and, what can I say, I'm easy sometimes, after one too many entry, I felt like I should give the show another try.
Turns out it was a success as I had fun. I'm not necessarily talking about the plot here (though I'll admit that I'm a sucker for storylines that involve faith and religious elements) but about the characters. I quite enjoy Abbie and Ichabod (as well as Jennie). They make a great team and I think my interest in them will keep me watching. Though I'm not sure whether I'll download the show every week or wait till I have a bunch of episodes to mainline.
That being said, I've seen the trailer for tomorrow's episode and I'll definitely be downloading and watching that one right away. After that, we'll see...
