(I don't even know why I still count lol)
Hello, flist! How's your week going? Mine is going quite well. Quite well, indeed. Work is a bit crazy but nothing beyond control so it's good, especially this time of the year when it sometimes feels like we're being stretched a bit thin (although, I might sing a different tune next week, you never know). Then on Monday night I went to the cinema and yesterday some of my colleagues and I went out for lunch because a former colleague was visiting and then in the evening I had dinner with two friends in this very cute Japanese restaurant in St Germain. On the way there I passed in front of the Notre Dame cathedral and I was thrilled to see they'd brought the Christmas tree back. After the 2015 terror attacks and due to the emergency state that took place afterwards, the tree had been "cancelled" but it's back now, and I'm absolutely delighted ♥
Then today is a very good day because (apart from being Star Wars day, heee omg, SW is back!!) my cousin Julien and I have planned a surprise for three of "our" kids (meaning the oldest of my assorted nieces and nephews from that side of the family): we're picking them up from school at noon before bringing them to the Disney on Ice show in Paris. We are both so excited!
I've taken the day off because the timing would have been too tight for me to go to their school from work, which means I'm having a lazy morning right now. Pure bliss.
