Thing the first, am knackered. Had quite an active weekend. Much fun was had and many things were accomplished so it was worth it, but I think I'll go to sleep early tonight... well, after midnight but before 2.00 am is early in my book - then again, we'll see *g*
Thing the second, Clark was supposed to get a new CD burner tonight but asfucking usual things went from bad to worse so not only the new CD burner isn't installed but Clark lost its CD driver altogether. Lovely. I'm afraid I'll have to admit defeat and bring Clark to the Computer Hospital next week. If you suddenly have the impression I went AWOL, you'll know why. Well, those who will remember this post will, anyway. I could have been quite cranky about the whole thing, but well, that's just how it is so why even bother? *didn't lose her zen... yet* I'll decide to get cranky if they have to reformat Clark entirely which means I'll lose everything that was on it. Sure, saving everything on disc would have soothed the process but to do that you actually need a CD burner, which no, didn't work out, hence the trip to Computer Hospital. This? Would be considered irony at its finest.
Thing the third, am yet to watch Numb3rs 1x05 and think I'll go and remedy that immediately after I a) post this entry and b) catch up with the flist. I need my little Numb3rs fix *looks longingly at file*
Thing the Fourth, wanna meme with me? I saw it here and there and finally told myself, why not? So. Why not?
1. Comment with a request to see absolutely anything on my computer. My desktop, my documents, my playlist, my bookmarks, my latest Photoshop graphics experiment... absolutely whatever you are curious about. Request it.
2. I will respond with a screenshot of the very thing you request.

Date: 2005-02-21 04:03 am (UTC)The prospect of losing all your information -- I cringe for you.
But, could you borrow (or rent, if need be) an external CD writer, plug it in your USB port and -- hey, presto! No need to lose anything.
Will it work? (I know so little about computers.)
