Saiyuki / The most obscure pairing ever!
Aug. 7th, 2004 01:19 amForgot to mention Saiyuki this morning. Watched second and third episode --*kisses
yami_tai-- and the love is getting stronger.
I also think I found another great Villain - if he ends up being the villain he seems to be - even though his motivations are sorta noble, everything considered.
But then, I guess having noble motivations is still not a good enough reason to you know, create mayhem and destruction all around - still, something tells me he should end up being a favourite of mine as well. I'm talking about Lord Gaiji of course *g* He was introduced in the second episode, albeit really briefly and I just know he should be really interesting - just a hunch *g* Hopefully we get to see more of him through the season?
I'm already slashing Gojyo and Hakkai like mad, and I now also have in mind a very slutty Sanzo because of a line that absolutely cracked me up. It came from Gojyo right after You's little worshipping speech concerning Sanzo : I would love to see his face when Sanzo is blowing someonewith his gun. I'm sorry but I almost didn't hear the last part of the sentence, my mind had gone to a very happy and dirty place right after the 'blow someone' and it was focusing on even dirtier images!
So yeah, I'm still loving Saiyuki all right lol
Now on something different. I got myself the most obscure pairing ever invented!
Faust/Valentin.
Doesn't ring any bell? That's normal. They're from a brand new --French-- tv show that premiered tonight. I watched it with Rémi, and even though we made fun of it more or less all along, I actually quite enjoyed it - go figure.
The best description would be that it's a French version of Without a Trace. It's not that complex though because Rémi and I found the solutions for the three cases [there were three episodes] the team was working on, but I think the characters are really nice *g*
Ariane, who's the leader of the team, is really cute - she's also strong, assertive, stubborn and sweet and human. Can you tell I loved her character? lol Then there're Faust and Valentin whom I slashed almost immediately. Faust is the pretty boy and badass of the team, and Valentin is the sweet techno geek always with a smile on his face - can you guess who's my favourite? *g*
Valentin is also in a wheelchair and I thought it was nice. I mean, not that he's in wheelchair per se, but to see a character like that in a show. Don't know if I really make sense here *sigh*
Anyway, Faust and Valentin? Sodoingit. You should see them bicker and tease each other all the time! They're really cute and huh yes, definitely doing it, too! Sure, they're shown as womanizer but I know better, ah!
So yeah, I didn't think it would ever happen but I actually slashed two characters from a French tv show, wow!
Something else that amused me to no end while watching the three episodes is how many dubbers (well, I mean actors who usually dub foreign shows) they used as secondary characters - I recognised like seven 'voices'. I hope they'll keep doing it, maybe I'll get to hear one of my guys' voice *g*
PS: GIP -
eelrak struck again.
