Ah Lost Thursday, always a wonderful day *g*
Well well, some part of this episode creeped me out. I really thought they'd brought The Scary Mysterious Monster back. And the fuckers made me believe it had eaten Shannon - and then, bam! It wasn't real after all. Because alright, when Boone heard Shannon's voice, I thought, okay Locke and Shannon thought of a little plan to have him motivated since it was what Locke seemed to want, and they're going to scare him into moving his ass. Then the scenes started to be a bit too long and I thought I'd totally misunderstood it and they were indeed together and it wasn't a plan and that's when I really thought they'd killed Shannon off after all. Like, The Lost Crew had us believe Charlie was dead when he wasn't and it would turn out it was to lull us into a false sense of security until they really started offing their characters, starting with Shannon, in a scary and gory way but without that much angst about it - therefore making it almost more realistic, ie one sec she's alive, the next she's been eaten, you know? So the 'eaten' bit doesn't sound that realistic, I'll admit, just replace it by 'dead', all right?
But no! They hadn't brought TSMM back after all, because it was actually Yoda!Locke's doing! And if I'd thought he'd more or less left my creepy-o-meter, well he's firmly back on it now. He's from the dark side, that one. His methods for helping other people out are way too much on the psycho side. He has to stop! Except not, because he sure brings up some interesting shit, but wow, why does he have to freak everyone out around him?
So the vibes between Shannon and Boone were real vibes, huh? But here goes the incest though, because no, they're not really brother and sister after all. Wonder if the B/S fans are going to be a bit disappointed about it now lol
It wasn't that shocking, after all, was it? I mean... they're not siblings. They're not half-brothers and sisters either, hell, they're not even cousins. And their parents didn't even marry when they were babies or toddlers, they were children already when they met, albeit young yes. So okay some step-siblings would indeed consider going out with each other as incest but some could care less. I guess it depends on how you learnt to see the other and how your parents raised you. In Shannon and Boone's case, it seems that the sibling part wasn't really that relevant. Still, I wonder if Lost is going to lose some fans over this issue? Because it'll be an issue for some people since we all see things differently - and I totally understand that, btw. I also wonder if this particular storyline is going to be talked over a lot?
Their relationship is fucked up tough, that's a given - but it's fucked up because... it just is, not because of the not-sibling thing for me *shrug* And I was so not surprised when Boone told Locke he'd felt relieved when he thought Shannon had died. I answered at the same as he did, and that's what I came up with too. I think I would have been surprised if he'd said something else.
Oh and speaking of Boone and stuff - the scene at the precinct? Damn, talk about a shock when I heard a sorta familiar yelling and realised it was Sawyer, wow! So is it going to be this way for everyone else?
Hey we almost saw everyone from the group, didn't we? Except for Claire, obviously - oh and Rose who apparently disappeared again *sigh* And okay Sawyer - well maybe we didn't really see everyone from the group, after all *frown* But we had most of them anyway :
Jack/Charlie: finally had a scene together, yay! And I was wondering whether we were going to even get a glimpse of Charlie *g* Apparently he's still enamoured with Locke. His little line about the trust thing had to sting a little, because huh Charlie? Jack saved your life too, or do I need to remind you??
Hurley-Jin: Man, Hurley cracked me up today! lol He's really so sweet - wonder what his story/secret is? And the whole 'pee on me' scene was just hilarious. Sorry, it might not be real intellectual but the scene was so absurd, you know? lol
Jin/Sun: They really looked cute together. Sun's smile wasn't forced or anything, that was nice. Why yes, I never gave up on that couple, I actually want them to love each other like they did in the beginning of their relationship.
Michael: So what is inside the box he was holding? Now I'm going to get paranoid or hyper-nosy about pretty much ever wee detail that is happening in that series. Well, more than I was, I mean lol
And still no trailer for the next episode. I miss those. Will have to hunt them down.. huh, somewhere *shrug*
Hmm so yeah stillmadlyinlovewiththatshow but somehow this episode was just okay to me. But it feels like it's a sort of calm before the storm, or something like that.
And I watched something else today - a yaoi that I was able to download thanks to
reppu. My my was it smutty!! Pretty graphic, but then not because they sorta blurred the naughty bits - then again, there's absolutely no doubt about what is happening and blur or no blur you still see pretty much everything, you know? And even if you didn't? Believe me when I say that the sound effects definitely would make up for it, oh boy! lol
Sensitive Pornograph lives up to its name *g* The first story is already smutty enough but the other one actually has some nice BDSM theme going on, so yeah *eg* As for the plots? What about them? Yeah, there's a sort of underline story but huh... that's not exactly the main focus, but I'll admit it's always nice to know what is going on, as unrealistic as it might be - and I was curious about the Master/slave storyline in particular.
On a Smut-o-meter of 10... this anime would be a 12 or something. Wanna see a little sample? Be my guest - oh and do I need to warn you that it's not exactly works afe? Because it's not.
I sure wish I spoke Japanese, man *sigh* Or could I put an ad?
Wanted:
Japanese/French or Japanese/English translator
PS: Who's into pr0n.
