Lost Thursday is back! And as usual after a hiatus, I'm struck by how much I love that show. As in, there's no way I could forget how much I love Lost, but after a hiatus and right when the first seconds of the episode start running, it's like I'm falling in love all over again *happy sigh*

So. Let's play the review game again *g* If I had to sum up that episode in one word, it would be: CREEPYOMG! With the caps and everything. Because it was! Or maybe it wasn't, but Locke's dream totally creeped me out and I may have zeroed in on that dream/vision for the whole episode. But no, it was creepy because the last scene? With Locke going 'I did everything you asked' and the IslandOrWhoeverWhatever answering him and showing him the light --which btw, takes a whole new definition here-- was quite high on my creepy-o-meter. Like this high *mimics how high* I know, impressive, huh? But the dream would have sufficed. Actually, just dream!Boone would have sufficed *shudder* Creepy, I'm telling ya!

And this whole Locke business... I just don't know what to think of him. He's confusing the hell out of me all the time. I'm seriously starting to think this guy is neither good nor evil. He just is, which actually doesn't help me one bit *sigh* He's a category in and of itself... And I don't know if there's something truly mystical and spiritual on this island or if everything does indeed have a rational explanation, but it's clear that Locke believes in the Island talking to him, so the point is, he's obviously not going to stop doing the Island's bidding... which still adds up to the creepy-o-meter. Which might be the point, granted *cough*

Something else that creeped me out is how he left Boone with Jack without a word and apparently without real concern. I mean, yes, he did bring Boone back to Jack, and he's in good hands, but why did he fucking leave like that? He's just way more interested in his business with the Island than he is in Boone's situation. On the other hand, one might think that he was so upset with what happened with his puppy that he needed to confront the Island or something... though you know, the timing is freaky, like, Boone is out of commission [and in a gory way too *cringe*] and Locke goes asking for some answers and is like 'I did everything you wanted blah blah' and bam! Light. OMG he so made a human sacrifice! What? Yeah, I'm a drama queen who likes to over-think stuff, why do you ask? I'm not sure I even believe in the human sacrifice thingie but admit it, it does have a nice ring to it... we'll see what happens, anyway.

Btw? Locke lied to Jack, that's not buddies. Fell of a cliff? Yeah that's definitely one way of putting it. This is also the obfuscation to end all obfuscations. It would put Blair to shame, even. Why are you always hiding stuff, Yoda!Locke, huh? Why? There was a radio in that plane! A radio Boone fucking used! So I have no idea who even received the call, but they did repeat the flight number right after Boone gave it to them, right? Locke yelled right at this moment and it was impossible to hear anything - I swear they did that on purpose, btw. I mean, it would have been quite interesting to know who said what, but nooo, they had to ruin it of course! Also, I know Locke doesn't know the radio still worked, but he's not stupid, he has to know it was a possibility. Wouldn't that be the kind of information to pass along?

Speaking of the plane. Heroin! Candy for Charlie! Where the fuck is Charlie, man. I know, it won't even be a blip on the radar but... heroin... for ex-junkie!Charlie. That would have been so fucking good *whimper*

Jack and the others now. Well first, I thought Sawyer was awfully cute in that episode and it surprised me. When did I ever start to think he was cute, anyway? But I'm thinking it was a one time thing. Jack and Kate on the other hand were fucking brats and boy, they would have deserved some smacks. That was so not nice, Jack, seriously... I mean... you just don't play around with people like that, you don't, even if it's Sawyer. The Glasses Factory made me smile though... and black & white, huh? Twas some time since we got that one. Thanks *salutes* Hurley's comment was priceless, he's the best *hugs him*

And I just watched the preview for 1x20 and wow, everyone will be quite busy, all right!

SMILWTS!

To change the subject, though it's still fannish talk, I watched BSG S1 in its entirety [and damn, is that a real word? It looks ugly] yesterday and I love that show beyond the telling of it. I'll have to post something about it later, if only to share with [livejournal.com profile] catiadoodle, but suffice to say for now that those DVDs are a purchase I'm not going to regret anytime soon, ie N.E.V.E.R *g*

And a last thing, because I just checked my mail and found a new treasure inside. [livejournal.com profile] aswanargent? I received your parcel. Wow... thank you so much! The mouse pad is really beautiful and as for the mouse rug, well it's the first time I see one, would you believe that? lol It's so classy! Clark is saying thanks. Man, that cracks me up when people address their pressies to Clark lol And I'm so glad that you thought of sending something just for me *cough* The chocolate won't last long, believe you me *smacks lips* In particular since I still can't move too much today, so I think I'll do another round of BSG while stuffing myself with savouring yummy chocolate. Thank you! *beams*
