Man, I'll be glad when my last exam is over and done with tomorrow. I'm done with studying today, at least. Although, it's weird thinking I'm going back to school on Monday...
What's better, after a day of reading books on medieval history - again - than surfing and watching a new episode of TS?
Nothing, that's what.
Today was "The Debt". This episode is special you know, it's when Jim decides that he can't live without Blair in his life and in his loft and makes him move with in him. Oh sure, it looks like Blair begs Jim to let him move in - but that was just in case someone was near and listening. Coming out isn't the best course of action sometimes.
Also, we really get to see them being all domestic and really at ease with each other - you know, when Blair is making breakfast? That's one hell of a cute scene, IMHO. And they just look so comfortable with and so tuned to each other. They won't ever make me believe they hadn't shared some breakfasts together before! Nah uh *shakes head* They won't fool me, baby!
Plus, we see Jim getting all worried for Blair, when Blair is at Miss Lacroix' and a worried!Jim is always a good thing - not as much as down-right-protective!Jim but almost. And speaking of the scenes in the building - Blair show us how smart and reliable he is when he 'creates' the Roosevelt Garden Safety Committee. Jim might be a bad ass cop, but Blair knows how to take of problems as well, and in a very human way, too. They make a great team, and even outside the bedroom, see?
Anyway, on to some quotes, because I really enjoy that :
Jim: Hey, buddy, how about a can of beer or something?
Blair: Oh, yeah, sure. They're in the fridge.
Jim: I'll take one.
Blair: Oh, that's great. They're in the fridge.
***
Jim: All right, look... One week. You or the gorilla act up and you're out. All right?
Blair: He's not a gorilla. And, look, you already hurt his feelings.
Jim: You know, I'm already beginning to regret this.
***
Joel: So how are you and your roommates getting along?
Jim: Don't ask. He makes all these weird noises, he eats stuff I can't even look at, and he smells funny. All he does is watch TV all day and it's driving me crazy. The monkey's okay, though.
***
Blair: Come and get it! Eggs are almost done, scrambled firm just the way you like them, right? Good morning. Have a seat, man.
Jim: If you think this little courtship ritual here is going to change my mind about throwing your butt out of here...
***
Jim: That mini kong of yours busted back into my apartment, and he trashed it again. Now Animal Control's got the place surrounded, so I'm going to give you half an hour to bag him. If he doesn't come out with his hands up, well then, I call in the SWAT sniper.
Blair: They say what he's doing?
Jim: He was watching TV.
Blair: You're kidding me. What program?
***
You know, it's nothing new here either - but I love Jim's humor. Most of the time, he's the one whose lines are making me smile the most. I remember when Terri and I got into the fandom, and started to really get into TS, I went quote hunting, and we came to the same conclusion; James Ellison, bad ass as he is, is really funny. Sharp and to the point, I just love it *g*
And some pics as well, because they pleased some of you, and they sure please me as well lol- so here again a small batch:
Domestic Much?

They are so married!
Actually, that's one of the things I love so much in TS - we get to see Jim and Blair off duty, in their home, doing normal stuff.
Okay, and some individual pics of the guys too:
Blair:

I just love that moment, and I can imagine a slightly different scene : "Jim, I know my monkey thrashed your place, but I mean, I'm so cute and I give good head - you're not going to throw me out, right, man?"
Jim and Blair in serious discussion:

See? Jim may try to pretend he's never listening to his babe, but he sure does when it counts! I love how focused on each other they are at this moment.

Jim and his Gun : one hell of a love story, too *nods*
Nerdy Blair:

He's 'undercover'. Well sorta. Don't pay attention to the tweed. Just, look at the rest of him, isn't he cute?

Hail to TS and happily married canon m/m couple! *schnuzzles Jim/Blair*

I was going to write "ah ha! this is proven!" but thought better of it. This show has so much slash proofs in it that it's too easy lol
question to a fan: do Jim and Blair have a song? you know, like some couples do? canon/fanon, I don't care but do they have one?
Re:
Date: 2004-02-12 01:21 pm (UTC)I think it's a matter of 'Blair being the only one could make that suit and tie sexy', ya know? lol
Re:
Date: 2004-02-12 01:23 pm (UTC)You like that jumper, don't you? lol
I'm having a lot of fun writing those posts as well, believe me! I don't know if I'll be able to do them each time, but in the meantime, I'm enjoying myself *g*
Re:
Date: 2004-02-12 01:28 pm (UTC)Hmm I don't see anything. Although at one point, there was this nice talk about the last Santana album (band Jim is supposed to like) which included a song called 'Shaman'. So it was sorta hinted that it would make a great song for them, you know? But otherwise, I don't see anything, no...

Date: 2004-02-19 12:52 pm (UTC)Thanks for friending me back! And I think I'll stick around a while :) Time for me to expand my friends list to encompass new interests and new people -- I just joined
Re:
Date: 2004-02-19 01:00 pm (UTC)And nice to meet you too *g* I know what you mean about expanding our flist to encompass new interests and everything. Strictly on the fandom front, I'm delighted to see more and more TS fens on my own flist. You know, it's funny because when I started my LJ, I had maybe around two people who shared my love for TS, and for a time, I thought TS was dead on lj land!
I mean, you found SV (boy did you find that interest) and SG, and Xena or Buffy, or I don't know what other shows, but for TS, it sure took its time.
That's why I'm pretty glad about my flist now *g* TS is definitely present- alive and kicking- woohoo!
