You know you're a tv addict when upon waking up at 6.30 am - don't even know why I woke up so early cause a) weekend! and b) see a) - your first thought is 'OMG last night was Sci-fi Friday in the US of A! Are the torrents up, are they are they are they?' But I guess I just have to accept reality and go with the flow, right? So anyway, I toddled off to Clark, just meaning to check aforementioned torrents before going back to sleep - did I mention it's the weekend and all? - but here I am at 8.00, still cruising the net. Thing is... my fan is here! And it's giving me cool air and I'm all awake now and I want to do all kind of fannish things and I don't wanna go back to sleep anyway. I'm fine where I am, thanks.

I didn't find the torrents, btw. Or well, I did find one for "Avalon" but it's one of those 22 Files file and... are those normal, anyway? I want my 1 File file, is that too much to ask? I want to be sure that if Clark spend hours downloading it, it won't be in vain. My fangirl's heart couldn't take the disappointment [/drama queen] I really hope your sci-fi Friday will become my Sci-fi Saturday... but Sci-fi Sunday will work as well. As long as I get the files, it'll be just fine *nodnod*

It kinda reminds me of when Numb3rs aired. The Saturday excitement as I waited for the episode to download *is nostalgic of that time when new Numb3rs still existed*

I'm debating whether to click on all those spoiler posts because do I really want to wait for all my files to download? Like, SG S9 and then BSG and then SGA? I'm not sure. And anyway, I don't think I ever went spoiler-free for those series so *takes a peek at flist* Yeah, I think I'll just go and click on every single link I'll find. Go me and my spoiler whore attitude! And anyway, I already go spoiler free for Lost, I can't keep up with that all the time, right? Glad to hear you approve.

OH and I just remembered that I downloaded QAF 511 last night! No wait *frowns* Did I? *checks on Clark* Yes I did! So okay my plan for this morning:

- watch QAF 511
- refresh my torrent sites compulsively to check for new torrents [ETA: Am d/ling BSG 2x01! *dies*] [ETA2: Aaaaand I found the other two episodes, wrapped in files I feel comfortable downloading so it's just perfect *worships internet*]
- get a start on my [livejournal.com profile] ts_ficathons reading because OMG so many stories, so many slashy goodness all at once! *dies* I don't even know where to start *glassy eyes* [livejournal.com profile] audrarose, [livejournal.com profile] sori1773, [livejournal.com profile] spikedluv and [livejournal.com profile] ozsaur are my new heroines! Thank you so much for that first TS ficathon *kisses*

And of course:

- check on my flist

And lastly:

- get the new Harry Potter if I happen to go the mall today [ETA: Done!]

What a wonderful start for a weekend *happy sigh*

The multiple files torrents are as good as any other files *g*

They're usually multiple volume archives, because (this is speculating from my part) they had to be sent from a ripper to his friends/fellow seeders, as e-mail attachments, and those are limited in size. I don't *know*, I just guess :>

I usually choose the file with the most seeders (and torrentspy.com has a "torrent health" information).

Now on to my question: is the SG-1 file you found normal-sized? Or the same 278.89 MB file I found?

They're good to go, then? Thanks for the info *g* I'm quite paranoid with those files it seems. And it also always reminds me of that time when btefnet was still my torrent god and I didn't have to wonder about that. No, I won't ever stop mourning its loss, why do you ask? lol

Also, the SG file is the same: 278,89, that's the one I found *g*

Yep, they're good. Well, you'll need WinRAR or other de-archiving program that knows .rar files to unpack them, but I can't imagine a computer without one O_o

(The Atlantis file finished in 2 hours and a half!! It seems the SG-1 will take longer, despite being smaller. Hmph.)

I never go without my PowerArchiver, so it shouldn't be a problem *g*

And my download usually takes forever so I'm not surprised I'm still in the middle of BSG. Still, I'll be patient and determined and I'll get everything I need before the day is over - or the weekend, but 'day' sounds better *looks solemn*

I think I may explode with fannish happiness before this day is over *g*

Every fandom seems so excited, I'm reading sparkly, sci fi, HP posts over and over and I'm just filled with glee!

I hope you get your downloads soon! And yes, new TS fic and one certain one I'm so looking forward to and am not looking at until I have time to sit and drink it in ;)

We both had our priorities this weekend, didn't we? lol Between the two of us we make The Ultimate Geek lol

The Ultimate Geek Team! woohoo! I like that *giggles* but of course, I want it stated that this new book is not among my favorites, due to lack of certain characters.

Aaaaaaand I watched NZIdol last night, to humor K. And the tarte au citron I made yesterday? So good! (this is off topic, but hey, I had to say it at some point lol)

Lack of certain characters truly is a sad thing *sigh*

Your OT was kinda sweet and all, you can keep on doing those lol

re: OT: any time!

I watched some Scrubs episodes last night (OF COURSE! like you expected me to wait till the weekend *rolls eyes*) and it's so weird to see them younger, and not knowing each others and all! but Dr Cox is still... well, Dr Cox - although I like him better with his little curly hair *giggles*

and Desperate Housewives? oh my god so good!
