... a - yet again - new version of "Les Liaisons Dangereuses", this one with Catherine Deneuve and Rupert Everett, and I must say I love it!

Rupert Everett is dubbed by the same actor who dubs Jack O'Neill in SG, and the actor who does both their voices (don't remember his name, sorry. I know who dubs Daniel, but not Jack - will have to check it out and remember it this time *g*) did a great job in showing their respective personalities. Where Jack's voice is sarcastic, irrespectful, Valmont's is deep, serious, and so so sexy. I love it! Not to say that Jack's voice isn't sexy per se... but here, this is different, Valmont is seduction personified, know what I mean?

*sighs* Rupert Everett is sooo sexy... why on earth did he have do be gay? honestly! To think that he lived in France and we almost kicked him out (that was before he became more famous and all - the only thing left from those days are the Opium adds - it's a perfume, not an actual drug)... *thinks* I seem to know quite a lot useless things today - although for my own defense I must say that I loved him in My best friend's wedding and in The importance of being earnest... and I will NOT comment on Colin Firth!

Yeah, the gay population seems to have the tendency to attract the most attractive people. We're sorry *g*

I just saw some trailers for a new movie with Rupert Everett, and another actress I really like-- and shamed on me, whose name I forgot! *bows head in shame* Anyway, I really liked what I saw, and intend to go and see it... *adds it to the List*

And of course you will NOT comment on Colin Firth!

If I were rude, I would say 'fuck off' but I'm not so I won't... And no, I'm not jealous at all *sticks tongue out*

*bangs head on computer* you're hopeless with movie names - heck, I could ask you the name of the planet Daniel was killed/raped/abducted/met Thor and you would answer this (along with the fact that in the series he was never raped, but whatever), and yet, all the indication on a new movie is that you saw a trailer and that Rupert Everett is in it!

I checked on IMDb (my very own Bible) and among the most recent movies he was in along with females there was Claire Danes, Sharon Stone, Kathy Bates...

And no, I still won't comment on Mr. Darcy. I mean Colin Firth.

Thank you for not being rude, it's really nice of you *g*

Yeah, I'm hopeless with movie names, but-- You're *here* so I don't need to know them all, know what I mean?

Anyway, hail to IMDb!

Yeah, it's the one with Kathy Bates, I love *her*

so obviously not in a sexual way (do you?)

And yeah, I know, on my grave they'll write: "she knew a lot of movies". Hurray. Am thrilled.

(to come back to previous thing: Daniel was never raped in canon, was he?)

No, not really in a sexually way, you're right *g*

Well, as a matter of fact, Daniel *was* raped in canon. By Hathor. I mean, he never consented, so... it's officially a rape.

*ponders* I guess Hathor's pheronomes and little snake tricks would be the Goaul'd's equivalent of Rohypnol?

*dreamy eyes* Daniel was raped in canon... oh my, that kind of news is an awesome way to start the day (esp since it's het lol) - yeah, I had forgotten about Hathor... oh my! *g*

Yeah *glassy eyes too* Daniel was raped in canon... by a woman, even. Impressive if you ask me *g*

Oh btw, what's the title of the movie with Rupert Everett and Kathy Bates, then? You didn't tell me.

Unconditional love:

After her husband (Aykroyd) leaves her, a woman (Bates) travels to London for the funeral of the pop star, Victor Fox (Pryce), she's adored all her life. There, she meets the lover (Everett) of the dead pop star, and convinces him to come back to Chicago with her to figure out who killed the singer.

You mean the actor who dubs Jack? Still don't know. I couldn't remember, and when I tried to wait the end of the credits to see it, there was nothing --which is a bloody shame! I'll check on my SG tapes and/or my SG DVDs.

I'll let you know.
