Hey, remember when I said that we should have our tree sometime this week? Well, I didn't realise how true I was! Mom bought it yesterday! So the house has been decorated, and the living room is all festive and sparkling now! *beaming* The fireplace is specially beautiful IMHO. There're two Disney stockings (Winnie the Pooh for me, and a Dalmatian for my sis) hanging, then some very classy and definitely christmassy candles, a little blue lantern with Santa Claus smiling at us on it, and also a little Santa in his sleight with some reindeers up in the sky figurine on the top. It's not kitsch at all btw, but I realise it might soung that way. We also put some lights on the fireplace... so we have lights from the tree - well, duh - but also from the fireplace, which is definitely nice *g*

I started decorating on my own, as usual- my mom was sitting on the armchair, facing both the fireplace and me, drinking her 'lait concentré' that she loves so much, with some xmas songs on the background. Like she said, sometimes life is just all about small pleasures *g* When the tree was finally all done, she couldn't resist and helped me decorating the living room as well.

Anyway, to make a long story short : me happy because tree here and decoration done.

Now on some CL stuff. The first pics of the SG French City Con have been posted here. My dial up almost died when it tried to show me the pics, so I didn't wait to see them all appear, but since I was at the Con in the first place, well I didn't mind that much *g*

ETA: About the link I gave you? We were apparently supposed to link to the home page, but when I went there, I couldn't find the right link back to the photos, and realised it had been last updated last month. Seriously, around Christmas, what's the difference between kitsch and fashion? it's the one time of the year we can be FREEEEEE!!! hurray! go kitsch!

and btw my mom is waiting for me to go and buy the Christmas tree - I'll decorate it with my bro! I'm going to grab him by the neck, pull him away from his computer and force him to come with me to carry the tree! (that's the "I'm-your-big-sister-therefore-you-must-do-as-I-say" speaking, in RL I know he'll come with me with no problem ^^ *does Snoopy dance* I'm seeing my bro in 4 days *huge grin*)

AT looks fantastic! So different to Sam. Have to admit if I hadn't known that was MS I wouldn't have recognised him.

See, I wasn't exaggerating about AT, uh? She was just so bloody fantastic! I couldn't stop looking at her, I swear! Yeah, you're not the only one to say that about MS. Let's not forget the guy had some problems with his eyes, so he had to keep something to protect them. Although, he still pulled off his glasses during the interview (at least on saturday)... that was nice of him, I think *g*

And YAY for Christmas too, and the rest, including my mom! *bouncing*

I think MS was even less recognizable on Saturday with the weird hat- definitely happy he didn't have it anymore on Sunday! lol

Although, I think people sometimes have trouble recognizing MS because they're often expecting someone that looks more like Daniel, ya know? Although, well, CJ is sure different from Teal'c! lol

And yes CJ was bloody brilliant, too, that's so right *happy sigh*

You always have our favorite actors doing Con in the US *pout* It was nice of you all to share for once btw, thanks! lol It's true than living in Europe is a good thing this time around! *g* I just wish we had more Conventions over here. Although, in the last couple of years, we sure had some. Apparently, they're doing two other SG cons in France. One in August and another in December. I really hope MS will attend again, cos if he does, you can be sure I'll be a part of it, too! Plus my b-day is in May, so I'll just ask the family to get me the ticket *g*

I live in the Midwestern part of the US, so conventions and such rarely come my way. They usually keep to the West Coast and/or East Coast. So chances of me getting to a convention are slim to none. But maybe someday... :)
